Great place nice and quiet and peaceful and only 2 miles from newark the toilets and showers have now been refurbished and they are brilliant staff friendly and helpful happy days

Would I go again… Yes. Bit tricky where I was pitched in a tent as it was half grass half deep stones. I couldn’t get the tent pegs in. Worrying as it was windy. I don’t actually think the stretch I was on was designed for tents (Reed Lake)

Another enjoyable visit. Great to see the peacock 🦚. Lucky to get a lake view, mind you this site is large and has many nice views and quite places. People like 🐟 here. I liked hearing the ducks and geese and see the bunnies in the evening 👍 warden is at hand if needed, well run site. See you next year🦚

Staff all amazing . Good facilities and great little shop.

Nicely kept site. Welcoming staff and clean facilities. Dog friendly. With a selection of ponds and stock on site for the angler or, just in front of the river trent. There's a lot of fishing slots locally so this site is a great base to start. A stones throw away from Newark Town where you'll find plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants. Loved our stay.

Had a great weekend fishing on the river Trent at smeatons what a beautiful place for nature walks and we caught some Barbel out of the river. The Bailiff Brian was very helpful.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities,and the beautiful views over the lakes from the hard standing number 9 pitch,when I dropped off the sister in laws caravan.

Lovely site within easy reach of Newark. Great for rallies as they have a large, level rally field. I'm not a fisherman but great facilities on site if fishing is your thing. Nice dog walk direct from site.
