Lovely food, very friendly and pleasant staff

This is the worst cafe I’ve been to ever. I would rather pay double the amount to go to another cafe than deal with how bad their customer service is. The last time I went in the lady had a face like thunder as per and didn’t even say hello or even ask what I wanted I had to ask her. After a second thought I told her to scrap my order due to having enough of this poor customer service and went to another cafe ‘All Day Cafe’ Who yes is more expensive but so much better in quality. But as soon as I walked in they were enthusiastic, polite and the food was so much better also. So in light of this I wasn’t even going to write a review because I know a negative review can hinder a business but this business needs a reality check as just now my colleague has just gone round there and order a bacon sandwich with ketchup and they gave him a bacon sandwich with brown sauce. When questioned about it they refused to give him the money back and didn’t even apologise for getting THEIR mistake. So he had to Chuck the sandwich away and went to All Day Cafe. They once again saved the day.

Ordered a takeaway today, didn’t expect much . They delivered faster than expected, plus it tasted delicious! I will be ordering again. Made my day , really. I ordered a full English breakfast. Everything tasted yummy ! Highly recommend

During the Covid-19 Pandemic easing of the lockdown in June, my daughter was able to get a spectacular salt beef sandwich, and suggested we got a takeaway sandwich to eat in the park,while still keeping our distance.
The sandwich was packed full of salt beef (proper corned beef - not the sliced fatty tinned type) but big chunks of lean tender break apart beef. Served with a delicious granary bread.
This became our weekly outing, and we started eating inside in August, so we explored the menu.
We've had baked potatoes, salads, breakfast etc.
Last time I was there, I had an omelette which was still sizzling when it reached the table.
2nd lockdown, so I can only get takeaway for now but I can't wait to go back inside.

I don't know why someone had to complain about the service a year ago. If all food orders were delayed for those who only wanted coffee, then the food would never get done.

Working locally and ordered from here two days in a row. Great food. U we eats delivered it still hot. 100% will use again.
