When I visited here on Monday two members of staff were serving. After asking what I'd like she went to put the subs straight on the oven. I smiled & said yes I would like them heated, she responded with 'what'. I replied, 'well normally I'm asked if I'd like them warm', she abruptly told me that she had asked. Well I obviously never heard her as I wouldn't have reacted. She then went to put my 3 cheeses sub in the oven, the one that's best served cold as advertised. As I said I didn't want that one heated she huffed & puffed & put my baguette back down. The member of staff taking the money was also rude & made me feel unwelcome & that I was being a nuisance customer. Aren't staff supposed to keep customers happy & do what they're asked without making it out to be an effort! I also found it very pricey, for 2 6-inch subs; 2 packets of crisps; 2 drinks & 6 cookies it came to £12.58. I'm not sure if that's the normal price but to me for two people to have a sandwich with crisps, drink & dessert that's a lot of money.

This place is an absolute joke!!! How can you not follow written orders from Deliveroo!? It’s on the order for Christ sake,,, ordered 2x footlong subs and 2x meatballs, ended up sending 2x 6” subs with all the wrong ingredients on them and a tray of cold soggy nachos, completely wrong and unacceptable from a food chain like subway! you’ve either got people who can’t read making the orders or your just plain stupid to mix such a simple order up! Delivered 25 minutes late as well so couldn’t ring to complain!!

Nice store, MOSTLY great staff. Almost hated this place thanks to one person who couldn't be bothered to prepare meatless meatballs for me. Must have refused to make them about four times before I'd had enough and complained to the Subway chain directly. Thankfully they quickly corrected this member of staff's behaviour and I'm hoping next time I run into the person I complained about, he will do his job and make subs ordered by the customer.
Much love to the young lad Josh and the young lady who's name I'm not sure of - very friendly and helpful members of staff. These two people are the reason I feel I have to give a five star rating :P

Order via the app didn't go through so wasn't available at pickup time. Guys in branch sorted it out with minimum fuss which is to their credit

You can always rely on Subway in Rubery to be consistent.
Subs and salads are fantastic and fantastic vegetarian/vegan options too.
And the staff are always polite and friendly 11/10 👍

The man who work there literally told no to dine in at 9:00 pm saying that 10:00 is time to close, can only have take away. This has never happened before.

This is my most common go to place for lunch during the working week. The staff are welcoming and very polite. Just asking people how they are goes a long way in my books and they really do make you feel welcome.
