Pret A Manger

It does not seem the same pret a manger compared with all the others I visited in London. Horrible croissant, not the real one which is the best seller of the branding. The first was burnt. This, in the pic is the second one.

I ordered a Flat White in the Wood Green Pret A Manger branch, using my app subscription. I picked up the coffee, confirmed with the barista it was mine, left the store and went to do some shopping in the shopping centre. The cup was far too hot, so I didn't actually try the coffee for a good 5 minutes, after which I realised it tasted like a black coffee with no milk. Once I realised this, I went back to the store and let the barista know. The barista asked me 'Why did you realise after 5 minutes it was not your coffee?', insinuating that I had somehow just wanted to try black coffee and then come back for a flat white coffee. I asked what she meant, she said 'I just want to know why it took you 5 minutes to realise it was not your coffee?'... Wow, I was shocked at what she was insinuating!

I let her know the previous barista confirmed to me it was a Flat White when I was collecting the coffee, and that nobody else was waiting for a coffee, so I assumed it was my coffee...

The barista then asked me to show her inside the cup... I showed her I had only drank a sip (it was still boiling hot and steam coming out of it!)

She then didn't say anything, just straight-faced, prepared a new flat white coffee and placed it in front of me... She didn't say anything when preparing and handing it over, so I asked if it was my flat white. She said 'Yes, you can take it.' No apology or any sign of empathy or understanding.

I still can't believe it, utterly disgraceful... I'm shocked and can't believe I was basically accused of trying to get another drink / I don't know what else she was thinking.

Very rude staff had one of their team shout at me coz someone put their lips on my order so I refused the drink due to hygiene reasons she then kept shouting at me it’s not my fault the person in front was to busy on their phone and not listening to her drink order and put her lips on mine. The staff woman who was doing the drinks thrn decided to keep giving me dirty looks and shouting I suffer with anxiety and she made my situation or worse. I will never step foot in a peer store again after today. She didn’t even apologise rude woman and she calls her self management’s

I really like the coffee but sometimes the mocha is grainy other than that food and drink is of very good quality. Bonus found a seat today Saturdays are very busy.

I always get my coffee and lunch from Pret. Today while I was sitting having my coffee the server Alex came over with a lot of attitude telling me I can’t consume food from outside. I was not having any food. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from her. She needs to stop attacking customers. I have got my drink and biscuit and I was minding my own business and eating it when she came over my table ! Back off she needs customer service skills. Without us you wouldn’t have a job!

I think there is a massive breach of trading standards insofar as the naming of ingredients.
The vegan macaroni cheese contains neither macaroni nor anything vaguely resembling cheese.
It is, in fact, merely an overcooked tomato and penne dish; which if you like baked hard pasta is a real treat.
The falafel are so far from falafel i don't know where to start? More akin to dunkin donuts except worse.
The soup was lovely.

I bite into the chicken baguette and SNAP! A bone sticks into my gum. It was a chicken bone. And the croissants was half burned. I’m glad this happened as it made me realise home made food in irreplaceable.

Pret pret pret! Friendly staff - always willing to help and assist. Food is great but you already knew that… their new breakfast range is sooo tasty! Also, great vegan options - my favourite(as you’ll see in the photo below) is the acai and almond butter bowl - so good! Great to have in Wood Green and generally a nice place to work/read a book as well - can bring your laptop or book when you’re having your coffee there and do your thing.
