Good choice of drinks with plenty of menu options. Always clean and tidy and served by helpful friendly staff. No toilet facilities. Really good location for the town centre.

Do not eat from here food hygiene standards extremely low! A staff member still had his food prep gloves on while dipping in the till to give a customer money. I needed to ask him to change his gloves before anybody gets very ill from him cross contaminating. It made me feel sick thinking that is what he being doing all day in between making sandwiches with the same gloves. The staff clearly have no regard for food safety and the well being of the customers. I could not eat from there after that and will inform others so they don't end up very unwell.

went to subway on 14th January and the hygiene standards were appalling. Dirty floors, dirty tables while there were plenty of staff standing around able to at the very minimum give the table a quick wipe down. Cobwebs around the store and staff had no intention of cleaning until we personally asked them to hand US a wipe so that WE could wipe the table. Will be contacting food hygiene for an inspection as behind the counter looked even worse than the customers’ side.

popped in for a sub, the hygiene in the store is awful. napkins all over the floor dirt everywhere. had to ask the man to clean the table and he offered me blue roll. no disinfectant. had to further ask for it. after the store had calmed down and was less busy. rather than a quick deep clean a brief brush was used. food left uncovered between busy times allowed flies etc. looked behind counted and seemed that behind was the same as the rest of the store. could no longer enjoy my food after this point. very disappointed!

So....ordered two footlong subs and three cookies through deliveroo on a Sunday evening. Granted it was near closing time but they accepted the order. Brilliant I thought. The order arrived...rather than the three cookies we got a box full - must have been 12 in there. Bonus - they gave us what was left rather than throw them out. Then I got to the main box which contained nothing but a load of cooked chicken!! Called the shop.....the bloke couldn't have cared less. If you can't be bothered to fulfill an order, don't accept it then tell the customer firstly that "no driver arrived"....then "oh sorry, you got the wrong order". Brilliant customer service there WGC Subway.

Placed the order which they somehow got wrong. And I don’t mean a little wrong. I think they just guessed and hoped it was right. It’s not like the order is literally a list of what you do and don’t add. It had salad in it despite no salad being added. Had no sauce in it despite asking for sauce. This is also crucial because it was asked to be made this way because of dietary requirements. Don’t know if they’re trying to kill someone but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Accidents happen.

I then called to see if I could get a replacement. The lady first tried to tell me on the phone that my order was completed as specific. I had then explained in the simplest possible English that there were multiple sandwich’s on the order and where as two were correct; The other couldn’t have been anymore wrong. Again she said ‘nope that’s what you asked for in the BMT’. I explained again ‘I’m not talking about the BMT!’. It finally computed.

I then asked (again) if we can have a reorder. I was told ‘sorry. If you come and get it you can have it’ the reason I asked for it delivered is because I can’t come and get it. My replacement sandwich was being held hostage. I then asked for a refund instead… but got no reply. The reason there was no reply was because she had hung up on me.

I know it’s a sandwich. I know it’s £4. It’s nothing major. But it’s the principle. FYI I can promise you I was very calm and polite on the phone. No raised voice, no nasty words or insults. The anger has come since. Think I’ll stick to Wenzels in future 👍🏻

One of the best Subway's out there in terms of customer service. Joe especially is a super start. He is a valuable asset to the organisation. Really pleased and I couldn't have for a better customer service, friendly, courteous and quick.
