Prices are really good. I've picked up quite a few bits from here, besides a sofa today I also picked up a bed that was practically brand new a month ago. All their stuff is in very good nick.

This place is no Ikea. They have a broad range of furniture items available at any given time. The staff are very friendly and the cause is worthy of everyone’s support. Think before you buy new. Do a good thing and support this local charity, you never what you might find inside.

Recently moved into the area and needed to find a second hand sofa for my new place. Found one here at a really reasonable price which was delivered quickly for a small fee. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great to be able to re-home some furniture and support the charity.

This is ideal when you don't want to spend too much in furniture, and you still have some standards and enough style. Personally it hurts me when I buy new as I can't afford more than IKEA, but for a similar price I can get a proper wardrobe made with wood, not chipped wood, not ply wood.
Anyway, I found the person on duty that day being very helpful and polite. It is quite a large shop so plenty of choice.
It is worth a visit!

For an Emmaus this is fairly small. Focus is very much on second-hand furniture with very few other things available. I'd say it's not worth a detour for, but if you're passing through, why not drop in see if you can pick something up whilst helping this very worthy charity?

We went primarily to donate goods for them to sell, but managed to find a very useful magazine rack! Large, well displayed, interesting goods with parking outside, helpful when donating larger items. A well worthwhile charity to support by donating and/or buying.

A good place for a poke about for used house furnishings and furniture. Prices seemed a bit higher than average. Car parking limited.
