With the amount of burglaries in the Codsall, Bilbrook and surrounding areas over the last 12 month I am amazed that more people are not getting Monitored Alarm Systems.

Secure Homes is a Wolverhampton family run company who sell the alarms from £299 with the ADDITIONAL cost of the monitoring services , this can be paid as a 1 off cost or monthly. The monitoring is for Quick response emergency services with
a 2 way audio into your home.
You will need a sales man to visit your property to give you a no obligation quote (every property different due to sizes and pets) no hard sell and approximately 1 hour of your time is all it takes

This is not aimed at the elderly, this is for anyone who wants to feel safe in their own home, single women, families who's partners work away from home, people who work shifts and come home all hours of the night.

I had mine fitted over 12 months ago, my friend who is single and works shifts kept telling me she wished she could afford it and when she saved the money she was going to get one.... Unfortunately, she got home while burglars were still in her property,
it was an awful experience for her and now she has the system.

We can all afford what is important to us and surely our own safety and that of our families is paramount.

This is NOT my business and I have NO financial gain sharing this with you.

We were contacted by SHS to advise they had taken over from Rancom. As the service from Rancom head office had been appalling, (engineers were great) with incessant pressure calls to “upgrade” long before the contract was due to expire. Bearing this in mind we were about to change supplier in any event.

Roy came along, talked us through the new company, its methods and track record and what was on offer - there was genuinely NO pressure. Being reassured, we signed up to a much improved offer. As arranged, Ann arrived on the dot to fit the upgraded system and what a charmer she is! Ann fitted the system efficiently and cleanly, talked us through everything and made sure we were completely au fait with the workings.
Between Roy and Ann, our faith in the industry has been much restored. SHS should be very pleased with this team!

Our previous security company was taken over by SHS Ltd and their representative visited to review the system in our home. He immediately informed us that the batteries used were no longer available, but SHS Ltd could install a new system for £1,100. We were asked to sign a contract agreeing to monthly payments of £20 for servicing, more than twice as much as we had been paying. During the cooling off period, we cancelled the contract and found a local company, who have serviced the system and assured us that batteries are still available! They charged about the same as we had been paying before.

They’ve upgraded my system from PSTN to wifi. Their engineer was on time, efficient, and explained everything very well

I’ve had a SHS system for approximately 6yrs, and wouldn’t be without it, very professional company and would highly recommend them.

this company took over my old company raised the price 39% pressured me into signing a 5 year contract up front payment told me no hidden or other costs involved i had system in place so took there offer reluctantly ive had no maintenance visits in 12 months then had a phone call out the blue asking me to pay a further £1600 for maintenance for the next 4 years with the squeeze on small businesses these days have made me so angry they got us were they want us working to pay them not happy

This firm called my elderly relatives and told them their current alarm provider was going to focus on alarms for businesses, and that they needed to “upgrade” to a new alarm with them. Now first point is that my Aunt’s are registered with TPS to stop marketing calls. I found this business has a history of ignoring that. A quick search shows that the ICO fined them £80,000 a few years back for contacting people on the TPS list.
The outcome was that they were sold a small Risco monitored alarm system with a 5 year contract where they paid the whole cost up front, more than £4000 !
The story doesn’t end there……the installation was poor, the technician didn’t even clean up the mess he made installing the control panel and they were left without any instructions. Soon after installation they were woken up in the middle of the night to find a fire engine outside because the system had triggered a fire alarm response……there was absolutely no cause. Weeks later they are still waiting for a service visit to find out why. One date promised has already been missed.

SHS apparently took over our contract from another company, increased the price by 39% then insisted upon a 5 year advance payment despite their printed contract offering monthly payments. Felt pressured. Cancelled.
