Archers' Meadow Glamping

Lovely little peace of heaven to enjoy some quality time and relaxation from busy lives. Beautiful setting and views. Pod has everything you need and is very clean being well maintained. Not too far into Ellesmere market town.

Liked: Lovely quiet site to relax and unwind. Great space for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. Pod was in excellent condition with fantastic view.
Family run site who were very friendly and plenty of information of things to do in the area provided.
Special mention to Amber the dog who lived on the farm and came to visit us each day!!! We loved her! :)

We had a fantastic 3 night stay in the Meadow view pod. Ian couldn't have been any more helpful or friendly and we can't wait to return again soon. Our daughter tells us every night she misses her new best friends your amazing dogs Amber and Jess.

Liked: Loved how compact the cabins were with everything we needed. The owners Ian and Janet were they to help if needed and very welcoming.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, parking fenced in area, exceptional views, fire pit and firewood, garden chairs and picnic table, underfloor heating and modern furnishings.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Ian & Janet are fantastic hosts and from the moment of arrival we were welcomed and given great ideas of places to go with our dog. This included a beautiful local Dog friendly Greek restaurant which offered beautiful food. & only 30 minutes walk from the Pod.
The pods are clean, warm & cosy . The fire pit is an excellent addition and we used it one evening during our stay.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Archer’s Meadow! Peaceful location with excellent views over the Shropshire countryside. The owners were really helpful and we even got a daily visit from their friendly dog!

The pods are new and well designed, so you feel like you have a fair bit of space. Very cosy and they have a smart TV which is handy.

Really detailed guide on the website/app which was great!

Shower was warm with plenty of pressure.

Ellesmere is only a 5 drive away and has a Tesco and Co-op for shopping and a few local pubs and restaurants.

Disliked: Not much to dislike really!

It would have been handy to have a toaster and perhaps a small two ring electric stove, as there’s only a microwave for cooking, although can appreciate that the owners may not want them due to fire risk.

Liked: We were welcomed and shown to our pod, very easy to find. On arrival we had milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge which was a lovely touch.
Shower was amazing, hotter and more pressure than our one at home. Easy to get into town and had a lovely walk around. Very peaceful and you weren't too close to the pod next door. Free fire wood also to make your own fire! Perfect!
