I cannot recommend the Green man highly enough. If you have a large group that you need accommodation for it is perfect. We had 41 people from babies, toddlers, teenagers and adults and everyone had a fantastic time. It is spacious, extremely well appointed and spotlessly clean.

An excellent venue for a group holiday. Lots of space, family friendly and ideally situated for lots of local attractions and places of interest. Nicely decorated, huge kitchen and a large private car park. Good sized grassy area with picnic tables. Highly recommended.

We use this venue for off-site training and our company induction program. Its a great, calming venue that's perfect for getting away from the office. An old pub with the bar still there, its well equipped, easily accessible, great views over the hills. In case you wondered though, its not open to the public though, so don't except to pop in for a pint!

Amazing self catering place that is ideal for large groups. Situated between Leek and Ashbourne and has some great pubs for drinking and dining. Been there twice now for a 40th wedding anniversary and a 40th birthday. Brilliant. The manageress is a gem. So helpful.

Fantastic venue, superbly appointed, exceptionally clean and customer service from Peak Venues was faultless. Comfortably accommodated 25 of us. Kitchen had everything you could need and more. Bedrooms / bathrooms could have done with some shelving, but otherwise couldn't fault it.

I have been here a few weekends over the years with my wife and extended family. It can sleep.up to 28 people in well appointed bedrooms, many with en-suite facilities. Extensive ground floor receptions, bar area and extensively well equipped kitchen. Ideal location for exploring the Dales and Peak District.

Perfect place for a large group. There was 30 of us….adults, children and dogs. The rooms a simple, clean and linens are great quality. The whole venue is perfect for entertaining. Massive kitchen with plenty of oven space. The dining area seated us all perfectly. We got external catering in for the Saturday night which was amazing!
The bar area and pool room were SPOT ON! Felt like our own little pub just without unwanted people in it. haha Communication with the hosts was great too.
