Wendy and Bill Core have provided a comfortable attractive set of barn conversion self catering units. With varying sizes of accommodation the units consist of open plan lounge and kitchen with washing machine as well as mains cooker and microwave. The bathroom with powerful shower is clean and the heating is great. With free WiFi the stay is comfortable and the charge is in the medium range and well deserved it. Great!

Definitely a must if you're in the area lovely barn conversion we had a two bedroom Holiday Apartment one double bed and the other two singles,TV Wi Fi Kitchen there to cook or microwave all utensils, look on website and Wendy owner plus her husband so helpful lovely book of places and things to do. GREAT VALUE

What an amazing location Sandy Brook Farm just outside Scarsbrick. We stayed here me and my wife and 3 kids. We had such an amazing time and Wendy and her husband have beautiful and clean modern accommodation on their farm. Their hospitality was amazing and friendly and nothing was a problem. Easy access to many local areas of Interest. Southport, Liverpool, Chester and Blackpool are all within handy driving range. On the farm there are chickens and turkeys and the children loved them. A real rural retreat this place is and lovely and charming. The old farm shed has been converted into high standard award winning accommodation which is hard to find these days. We really would have loved to spend more time here and maybe hope to come back in future if still open. Electricity is paid using a meter and works out a pound a day approx which is very cheap. Have pound coins handy when staying here. Cleanliness was 1st class and apartment was spacious and well equipped. We stayed in "The Stable" how lovely it was. We arrived late due to late flight but were well accommodated by Wendy and her husband. Nice friendly pubs and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Try the Beefeater Morris Dancers it's charming for food and beverages. Price for accommodation was also very reasonable and fair. Try it you won't regret coming to this place. Very comfortable long weekend spent here. Warm, comfortable, and everything we needed. The ducks, chickens, and turkeys formed a welcoming committee, and although the turkeys looked a bit intimidating they were just curious about the new guests. We would definitely book again.
