Clovelly Lakes

We thought this would be a quiet place as most fishermen like peace and quiet and it was , we was in lodge 4 and it could sleep 6 , accommodation great 2 bathrooms and everything you would need, great spot in front of the lodge for fishing. Walking the dog was good, bird feeder out the front was a bonus, would recommend this place for fishing or just for peace and quiet. Yes I believe we will visit again.

Had a lovely week stay very clean lodge very friendly owners. Peaceful area and relaxing. Dog enjoyed his stay aswell. Fishing was challenging would highly recommend looking forward to returning

Absolutely first class accommodation, have been coming to Devon for over 20 years and always come back to clovelly lodges Claire and her team make you feel so welcome, this was our first time back as Mr and Mrs and the Swan towels and complimentary bottle of fizz was the icing on the cake, The fishing has been excellent as well as the glorious weather highly recommend this beautiful location 😀

Reasonable quality accommodation.. lake fish need a little tlc.. unfortunately not all anglers have been fish friendly.. swims need modernising
But I do recommend this place for peace and tranquility.....

Just had a very relaxing week there and the staff/ owner could not have been nicer. Lovely place and the lodge was very clean and well equipped. My dogs loved it too

This is one of our most favourite places to stay with the family. It’s children and dog friendly and our dog absolutely loves walks around the lakes and the new dog walk Claire has made through the woods. My partner loves his fishing and the lakes offer a variety of fishing and the set up is perfect. During our last stay my partner caught something everyday which made him very happy! This place is beautiful and dramatic whatever the weather and is private and remote yet only 15 minutes to big super markers and shops.
The lodges are super clean, well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The welcome milk in the fridge is so nice and we understand it’s produced and bottled about 500 yards away! Thank you to Claire and the team, we love staying at the lodges and can’t wait for our next visit to you in the summer.

Very peaceful place. The lakes were lovely and the lodge was comfortable and cozy. It was even decorated for Christmas which was a great touch and unexpected. It was a great break.
