It was like home from home, the lodge was clean and the beds were comfortable. If you want just peace and quiet this is the place to be it also had 6 chickens wandering around and we also saw a deer. Most places to visit were within 30 mins drive.

The chalets at Spindlewood are large, warm, well equipped and well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and the owners were very pleasant and eager to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

What a delightful time we had at Spindlewood Lodge this weekend. The cabin itself was warm, inviting, clean and extremely spacious. Everything you could possibly need such as WiFi, TV, a fully functional kitchen and plenty of power points to charge or connect any device were all provided and available for use. The vistas from the cabins main window were extremely pleasing upon the eye, with open fields stretched out before you, wooded areas sparsely dotted here and there, and the main focal point dominating the landscape was that of Glastonbury Tor standing proud in the distance... It's just a shame the weather was grotty for us this weekend as it really would have been a magical sight on a bright, warm summers day. The owners of Spindlewood Lodge were warm, friendly and truly hospitable making our stay there one to remember... Regardless of the weather it was a fantastic weekend break, I highly recommend!

Great cabins in a pretty setting with loads of grassy space to run around on. Nice location to go out from to see beautiful Somerset.

It's a nice place very very peaceful, pitch black outside at night and silent. No local shops. Spindlewoods lodges are very relaxing not too good a place for kids. Our only negative from our stay was a man called Tony who unlocked our cabin and stuck his uninvited head into our privacy. Our child was so scared after this we felt we had to go home 🏡 a day early. He said he had a duty of care and was allowed to come in the cabin to check we were OK. I call BS on this,we paid for our privacy and that was destroyed with no apology just a excuse. if i was a single female i would have concerns.Other than that Spindlewood lodges is a lovely place and a short drive from Glastonbury wich is a great place to visit. I would recommend Spindlewood lodges dedpite the intrusion.

This place is the perfect get away. So peaceful with beautiful surroundings and 6 cheeky chickens! Clean, spacious, well equipped, good WiFi, smart tv. It had everything we needed! We extended our stay for the weekend the owners brought round a Thankyou card, bottle of wine and 6 fresh eggs from the chickens! It made it even better knowing they appreciate the custom. Fab stay booked again for July half term.

If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet and are in the mood to do nothing but rest and relax, then this is the place to come. There are 8 lodges on this site. But they are very comfortable and relaxing and very quiet. Haven't felt so.calm and relaxed in years. Would definitely recommend this place.
