Mears Ashby Hall

I have rented Ladyham Hall twice now, once for a family Birthday Party and the other for a group holiday with friends. I would highly recommend it. Ladyham Hall truly is a very special and unique venue. This quintessential English Manor which I liken to our very own Downtown Abbey. Has provided our family with some of our best holidays. The house has stunning grounds to walk and the interior is beautiful with original intricate manor decor. We have had such great Holidays staying here. We rented once in the summer and enjoyed outdoor dinning on the patio and playing tennis and croquet on the lawn and we have rented once in the winter and made use of the spectacular kitchen, function rooms and beautiful living rooms each with unique designs. There are a variety of activities for our group ranging from children to adults. The location is great with great local facilities shops and pub walks with plenty of peasants to spot. It really provides a unique experience to stay in such a grand spectacular venue which I can’t recommend enough. My wife and I have even said it would have been a lovely venue to have got married here. I hope my review has been helpful.

I recently stayed at Mears Ashby hall for my hen weekend celebration. I have to say it was nothing short of amazing! On arrival the house was very clean and so beautiful, even more so than it looks from the pictures online . We received a friendly welcome and tour of the house by the owners.

There are many different areas of the house where you can relax with guests and the gardens are stunning. The party room is perfect for an evening celebration and we enjoyed spending one of our evenings under the disco lights!

Contrary to some previous reviews, I received my deposit back in full after my stay.

A fantastic venue for a weekend away. We stayed at Ladyham Hall a couple of months ago and had a wonderful experience in what is a truly amazing property. The large kitchen and the library are a particular highlight, as are the grounds - including the tennis court and games area. All bedrooms are also really great, so nobody was left feeling like they don't have their own master suite. The property was handed over in a fantastic condition (clean, tidy and clearly well looked after), with the owners Pam and Clive being extremely friendly and welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for country weekend away.

I rented Ladyham Hall at the end of February 2020 for my 60th Birthday. From the first conversation with Clive I knew it was the right choice. My guests were amazed at the stunning house which really feels like it is your home for the weekend. I can not recommend highly enough from the moment you drive up it feels so special. The Party room is fabulous, the Dinning Room homely even with 20 people in and we loved the Drawing Room, the Library and the Grounds. Book with confidence this is a great place for that special weekend - we will come again and have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you Clive and Pam for allowing us to make such wonderful memories.

We had the most amazing weekend with dear friends celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for more... the house was just fabulous - glamourous, comfortable, a real treat. we had everything we needed - the facilities were great! From the BBQ to the dining room for a celebration to the grounds and the outside eating area. Dealing with Clive and Pam was clear, straight forward and they were a delight to deal with. We would go back in a blink and would highly recommend. Thanks Pam and Clive for an amazing weekend and the loan of your beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stag party at Mears Ashby. It really is a lovely house. The owners were fantastic. They were very welcoming and they did their utmost to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
Checking in and out was very simple. Deposit was returned quickly, minus flowers for the neighbours for the loud music! (sorry about that!)
In all an excellent weekend that I know all of us will remember for a long time! (differing levels of clarity no doubt!)

What an incredibly special and utterly spectacular place to stay. Clive and Pamela were friendly and helpful and made the whole experience completely flawless. The house and gardens are in immaculate condition and it really is perfect for any event with amazing grounds and even a party room to continue the festivities in. Just being in this house makes you feel special, it had everything we wanted and more. It oozes style and decadence and the experience was a real pleasure from start to finish. I already cannot wait to go back to this magical property.
