Reeth Holiday Cottages

Charlie's Stable at Reeth Holiday Cottages is a truly wonderful place to stay when spending time in the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is a stylish blend of modern and original fittings, laid out in open plan arrangement, with all the comforts of home (and a few extras too). Upstairs, perched on a luxurious deep pile carpet, is the most epic (and comfortable) bed that we have ever slept in. The exposed beams from the original barn are a nice touch too. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful.
After long walks in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, literally from the door, it is very pleasant to relax in the Charlie's Stable river-side garden with a cold drink (or some amazing cake from the Two Dales Bakery, just around the corner) and although we haven't yet visited in any of the colder months, the little log burning stove looks like it would be a nice alternative spot to nurse a wee whisky and some shortbread by.
We love Charlie's Stable - our only regret is not having the time to visit more frequently.

Fantastic week in a fantastic property. We have a few requirements for cottage holidays as we tend to do at least 5 per year. Burton House fulfils all of them. Enclosed outdoor space x 2, parking on site, ample kitchen utensils, stylish kitchen diner with both refrigerator and freezer, comfortable beds, outdoor seating. Where Burton House goes beyond these requirements are in terms of quality of soft furnishings, bedding and bath linen, crockery etc. Oh and of course the location - within two minutes walk of the extensive green space of Reeth, local pubs, hotels etc. Rose and David are also on hand if there are any questions. So good was our stay that we've already booked for 2023.

Excellent accommodation, everything you could wish for. The bed was really comfortable, lovely big shower too. Location great, close enough to the centre of the village but felt you was in the middle of the countryside. So quiet! Weather was a bonus too, 5 glorious days of warm sunshine.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning setting. We stayed in Burton House with the dog and it is well furnished and comfortable. There is everything you need for a great stay and Rose is welcoming without intruding on your stay. The location is perfect with walking from your doorstep and the village has everything you need including pubs with delicious food. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just spent a few days in a Reeth holiday cottage (Charlie’s Stable) and I can highly recommend.The cottage has a nice combination of contemporary and traditional aspects that really work well together resulting in a very comfortable stay.Everything is of an high standard.
Within a few minutes walk of the centre of the village yet set in a quiet area you have beautiful countryside walks from your doorstep.
We shall certainly be returning.

Absolutely delightful Charlie’s cottage. Wonderful views. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Couldn’t fault anything at all. The field next to the cottage was also really convenient for dog walks and meeting local people. Brilliant experience all round!!

The most relaxing of weeks in one of these wonderful cottages. Everything is perfect. Bright modern feel to the kitchen, cosy lounge with an open fire, two large double bedrooms and a bathroom with tub to relax in after a long run on the hills. The village is also first class with three good pubs all with roaring fires and great food. All situated in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with plenty of spectacular places to visit.

Wonderful cottage. We stayed in Charlie’s Stable. Very well equipped, beautifully designed, lovely comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and very clean. Couldn’t have wished for a nicer stay. Rose and David have thought of everything from the nice touches of a welcome basket and wine to the very well equipped kitchen. Will definitely be returning for another stay
