Bob's Bunkhouse

just stayed here with 20 lads on stag do. its a great place .. basic but really well equiped . bob is a great guy and leaves you to it but there should you need help with anything.we got our 12 seater mini bus to the door. highly recommended for a great weekend. thanks bob.

Went here for Stag do its ace very nice place bit remote but suppose that what u get in outback wales.... bob great guy and ripped one of the lads for not gettin up the hill in his 14 plate ford fiesta clean tidy and fantastic views sadly no fire pit but a great place to have. A indoor bbq local shop a bit of a mooch (londis ripper "ENJOY YOUR RIPPLE")away and local tesco Morrisons around 10 miles from big bobs
And remember hit the hill with enough speed and you will be fine

Stayed for a stag. Great place. Bobs ace. Just watch the hill on the way up. If you fail bob will let you know about it. EVEN HIS CLEANER GOT UP IT. IN HER RUBBISH CAR

We had a wonderful stay here last year. Just popped up to see the fantastic views. Happy memories of Bob.

This stay was the 3rd time we have visited the bunk house, we come as a group of about 10 guys each time and get involved in activities locally, such as coasterring, long walks and airsoft. The bunkhouse is up a steep and narrow gravel track don't come to here if your expecting all the luxuries, however saying that its how raw the bunk house is that keeps bringing us back, its a cosy place to light a fire, sleep, drink plenty and bbq in a big open space with incredible views.
We first came when a guy called Bob ran the bunk house, he was a real character and we were saddend when we heard of his passing last year, however his daughter Collette and partner Garry are now managing the bunk house and its better then ever. They made us feel really welcome and couldn't do enough for us. I even left some belongings behind and Colette posted them back to me.
We will all, without a doubt be returning again.

Now called The Rise bunkhouse after Bob sadly passed away. Gary has taken on this fantastic wild farm and kept it as one of the best bunkhouses in the uk. It now has a hot tub to sit and watch the sunset from. Amazing place.

Had my stag do here. Should have held a bonfire and barbecue night instead of clubs in Bangor. How does the stag draw short straw?

hi this is garry .we have been closed from the very start of covid , unfortunately after making every effort to rejigger the bunkhouse its just not suited to accommodate six or less people.hopefully when everything is back to normal we will be up and running...
