Darren and his team are first class! The place is a great place to store all size items. Very helpful staff and easy to park securely when loading and off loading. It was ideal for me and can highly recommend anyone who has inner city storage needs.

Booked storage unit for a short period (2 weeks). Super nice and easy to deal with. They advertise 50% off for the first 8 weeks. To qualify, you need to book this Flexible. The stay must be 2 weeks minimum, and you pay the first 4 weeks in advance. Last, per the rental agreement, you must provide advance notice of your check-out date. Since our departure was only 2 weeks after we arrived, we provided our notice immediately in writing. Darren and his team were super accommodating, and everything worked as planned. After we vacated, we received our refund promptly. Renters must be aware of the rules, and this works out exactly as advertised.

But if you need help moving something they always seem to have someone to recommend.

Great price and location for storage in London. I used this facility to store several suitcases while I went traveling abroad. Darren and Aman were very helpful and offered excellent customer service. They’re very communicative and the move-in process was very easy.

Dishonest company. Find an alternative if you can.

I used their service for 7.5 weeks, on a quote of £37.55/week for 8 weeks. Even at full 8 weeks service this would add up to £300.4. However, I was charged by a total amount of £371.31.

Their reasoning for the overcharge was "requiring 2-weeks notice". This information never was made clear to me - not during the online quoting process, not during the phone call for reservation, not during the four different documents they make you prepare in advance, and not when you are signing papers in the office.

They are happy to withdraw your money 1-month in advance via direct debit, but do not have the courtesy of letting you clearly know that you need to give two-weeks notice. Apparently, it was written on the contract according to the manager - so if you ever have to use this place, take your time to read 9 pages of the contract in case they have some other ways to charge you unjustly.

The team both at the Paddington location and Safestore's general call centre were great to work with. Highly recommend!

Always received great service and great value from all the team at Safestore Paddington especially when needing to change units but this past week Larry in the office went above and beyond when we arrived 5 minutes before closing time needing his help with a couple of things, most people would have no doubt turned us away at that time but Larry made sure all our queries were fully resolved with a smile. Thanks again Larry!
