Shurgard Self Storage Kentish Town

Starting to think this place is a scam.
After paying for my first months storage my bank blocked my online account because of a fraudulent payment.
They have ignored my emails of me supplying my move out date.
And when I finally was due to move into my storage unit my unit was locked and no one was available at reception. I had to organise alternative storage at the last minute.
They have been extremely hard to get a hold of ever since - they’ve not responded to any emails and their phone lines have not been connecting me to the correct branch.
Extremely worrying and disappointing.
Beware of using their services.

Bunch of superstars work here! Annette is slightly more famous than Darren,

despite Darren doing the lions share of the work!

Misguiding £1 promo. Their website says the first month costs £1 and when you go on and fill in the form, with all the costs of insurance, lock (optional) and administration fees (although they do not even have an office in Chalk Farm branch) you are looking at some 30-45 pounds charge. There's your £1 first month. As a marketing professional this is exactly what I advise companies not to do. This kind of approach does nothing but frustrate customers by misguiding them.

UPDATE: I started using their service out of desperate need. It's 10 and the gates to the storage is closed. I have heavy boxes with me. Just started regretting this.
