Safestore Self Storage Staines

Staines safe store is exactly that,, excellent storage facilities nice a d clean premises, staff are extremely helpful. Plenty of trolleys to use, safe 24 hour access, excellent units nice and big and roomy. Will be recommending to friends and family. Prices very competitive too. 5 stars

Very professional, quick to respond to emails and very helpful at the point of us "newbies to storage" dropping our possessions off. Highly recommended.

Took money from my account without my permission. Owed over £400. Not a great experience.

Not impressed…. Customer Service is secondary to profit at this location… I got hit with a GBP 30 fee for not providing two week notice on termination of the contract….

The General Manager Doug was nice but opted not to do anything for us…. A good manager would look at the long term and not short term gains, he could have worked with me and waived the fee, I subsequently would have come back next summer, however I will not be back..

Read your contracts folks, they failed to tell us this termination clause when we booked the storage originally, shame on me.. Avoid this place…

Great storage place. Easy to access and load/unload large items. A large set of trolleys are available to move heavy and multiple goods into your storage area.

They also sell a range of packaging and racks if you need them.

Watch out for the fees which increment year on year and be ready to negotiate after your first year of storage.

Great place and great team, they are really helping me grow my business.

Kept putting my name down wrong in paperwork. They sent me about 10 emails in one go instead of include it all into one. The unit had litter on the floor when I first accessed it. Accused me of dishonesty when a direct debit payment didn't go through. I called as soon as I received information of the issue, explained what I think may have gone wrong and paid on the phone there and then, yet they were hell-bent on charging me an extra £15. I was lied to, was told on the call by a manager that she would talk to her manager before proceeding with the charge and get back to me. I received no communication about it since. I also got locked in - there is absolutely no excuse for that. On departure I accidentally left my padlock on because I was in a rush. I was told about it when I was in the airport at the time, about to take a flight. I used an expensive service (for lost luggage) to return the fob and my key for my padlock which cost £30. Did they send me anything back? No. Did they remove the £15 charge? No. For all those reasons and more, zero stars unfortunately.

Been here for approx 3 yrs.. lots of household stuff in storage..
Claims to be safe and secure but I had problems with mice at least 3 times . Told the staff but nothing done and no offer of refunds for damage. I even showed them pics of damage and one of the mice.

Left very disappointed!
