Cristol Clear Living at Thornhill House

We stayed at Thornhill House apartments as a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children, aged 5 and 7. The apartment, although quite small for a family of four, is tastefully decorated, clinically clean and has all mod cons. Towels, bed linen, toiletries, kitchen essentials and basic refreshments such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk were provided in which was very welcome as we arrived late when all shops were closed. Thornhill House is a terrific location centrally located beside Watford High Street and within a short walk to restaurants, bars and shopping centres. The rate was reasonably priced and included parking. The apartment was warm and cosy but would be more suitable for two people as the sofa bed took up all of the living space when pulled out. Although we didn't mind as the central location and the rate was more important. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

The stay was perfect. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children this offered us the perfect base for our trip to the Harry Potter tour, we were within walking distance of the town centre and the shopping Center which ment I could leave my car and relax with everyone else. The apartment was decorated to a high standard with everything we needed the kids were made up to have internet access and I was happy to have sky channels through the now tv service I really felt it was a home away from home. For us it was much more convenient than a hotel room and everything was easy from the check in to the departure. I would not hesitate to stay here again or in a similar apartment elsewhere.

We absolutely enjoyed our four and a half weeks here. Simon is very kind, nice and approachable and catered for all our needs. The cleaners came every Friday and did a great job to make the place nice and clean. The location is extremely convenient and close to all amenities. The apartments have a lovely kitchen,washing machine and car park which are very useful for staying long term. The price is very reasonable compared to other similar accomodation. We highly recommend this place when visiting the UK.

We based a group of 10 musicians on tour at The StayHere/Thornhill properties in Watford. The flats were very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. The Watford location was very convenient for the shows in London and Birmingham, as well as traveling to London in our off days. Simon, the property owner, was super nice and looked after all our needs. Highly, highly recommended!

We had a most enjoyable stay here for three weeks. It's a pleasant, well-equipped apartment that is ideally positioned, so that we were able to walk to most things: supermarkets, the Watford High Street, Watford Junction station, Cassiobury Park, etc. Considering it is the centre of town, the noise at night was not unreasonably disturbing. Communication with the managers at StayHere was always clear and prompt, and they went out of their way to meet our needs. We would definitely return to this apartment.

Recently stayed here for trip to Harry Potter world. Excellent accommodation, comfortable beds. 2 bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need to for a home away from home stay. Parking was excellent. Close to train station just a couple of mins drive. We had a day in London and it is only 1 stop on the fast train. Would definitely stay here again.

Simon at StayHere accommodated our group of 11 musicians and ensured that our stay was superbly catered to. The apartments were clean, well furnished and well equipped with basic necessities. Simon, the host is an absolute gentleman!

We will definitely be coming back here on our next visit! 10 out of 10!
