Dover Town Rooms - Kent Escapes Serviced Accommodation

We had a lovely stay at Dover town rooms. The owners were very welcoming and polite, the couldn't have been faulted in any way possible. The whole building was clean, the shared bathroom and kitchen was spotless, our room was immaculate. We had the pleasure of a newly refurbished room kitted out with everything we would have needed, the presentation of our room was of a high standard. Also to our advantage had a beautiful view of the castle.

Room was very clean and tidy, was very modern with TV and free wifi, provided pots and pans, cutlery, plates and bowls in the room to use in the shared kitchen provided. Shared bathroom was very clean too. Everything we needed was provided. Owners are very nice and friendly helped with any questions we had, would stay again any day without a doubt, best accommodation I've been to, better than hotels.

The room is large, clean and modern. Shared bathroom is clean. The owners are friendly. Free WiFi. Don't be put off by the low cost per night, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

There is free/unrestricted parking on the road that goes to the castle/cliffs. I paid for the first night and day and it was stressful moving the car because there is a max of 2hours parking on most streets. The accomadation was okay for a few days stay.

Bed was terrible, just by sitting on it it made so much noise so I couldn't sleep all night. It's next to a busy road and the blinds don't keep the room dark at all. If your a light sleeper this is a terrible for you.

Rude management.

Bed was squeaking from any movement, so it was impossible to sleep unless you lay still whole night.

Pros: Location, clean room and shared bathroom, great view at the castle, easy access to the building

Cons: the management communication has been questionable- after making a reservation via Booking we were asked to submit one copy of ID, after which we were additionally asked to send over a BILL where the current address would be displayed- very sketchy, also it was asked in a very rude manner (I’m okay with sending over the details but when I’m explained why it’s being done so)

The old spring bed mattress is loud and squeaky - for those who’s staying on a business trip or have trouble sleeping is not really recommended
