The Apartments Monument - City

Absolute nightmare accessing the apartment. When I called for advice they hung up and never called back leaving me stuck outside for hours until another guest helped. Multiple other guests experience the same problem. The kitchen surface where dirty which looks like meat residue, the shower was dirty and there was a huge amount of dust and dirty in the bedroom, which luckily couldn’t see much of because non of the lights worked. The lift didn’t work and I was on the top floor. When I emailed to complain i only received and email the third time and was told I didn’t read the instructions which just said the address, and it was dirty because it was on the main road so couldn’t help the dust ( which was about the size of a small cat.) The lead up to staying was bombarded with rules and information they required from me, so it’s a shame they couldn’t put the same attention into replying to their guests because the actual apartment was lovely but the staff terrible. Wouldn’t recommend.

PLEASE STAY AWAY. They make you wait outside on the street because entry is not straightforward, so you had to call them to gain access, they pick calls after trying for about 20 minutes. All this while you are out on the cold and wet street! And this treatment, bear in mind, is after they make you pay a hefty security deposit of £750 ahead of the stay.
The staff are not even close to being professional and getting a bottle of water or even a glass of water is very strenuous. Staff are rude, so avoid putting over any requests, no matter how simple the requests may be.
Moving to the room, they smelled of cigarettes, however, decided not to complain, as all we wanted was now to rest and take no more arguments from the staff.
Worth the money if you are looking for a pathetic or miserable experience.
