Ashford Sewing & Knitting Centre

Thank you very much for your expert advice and demonstration. No pressure to buy and honest opinion given. I am loving my new machine, £50 cheaper than online and I was able to take it home there and then. I went straight home and made my toddler a dress (that she won't wear).

Tiny but packed with sewing and knitting goodies. Many items, eg elastic, ribbon, bindings etc sold by the metre. Buttons sold individually. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good selection of sewing machines competitively priced and advice given by knowledgeable staff.

It says something that their lowest rating is one three star review and the rest are four and up. Its no surprise because I can't praise their service enough. They sell quality machines and will assist if there is help needed. Three years ago we bought a Sewing machine, never had a problem with it, today we bought an Overlocker. We would use them again and recommend them without hesitation.

I had a free estimate and on accepting the quote I had a call from them informing me that the machine had been repaired and was ready for collection. Strongly recommend.

The service provided by Jim and Kevin is second to none. I asked Jim to repair my late mother’s machine, which he did with care and consideration. Keeping me advised of cost throughout. I cannot thank him enough as this machine was of great sentimental value. All replaced parts were returned and carried out very quickly. Highly recommend

Lovely shop. Lovely man in the shop who ordered my cushion pad. If you are a sewing crafter this shop sells everything you need. The staff are friendly and helpful and I shall become a regular customer. This is the sort of shop around in the sixties friendly helpful polite staff

Fantastic, family owned store for all your textiles needs from needles and thread to small or large, New, sewing machines.
The store is small but I find this adds character and charm and the owner as well as the staff are more than excellent at providing a 5* service.
