They damaged my expensive leather boots and didn't take responsibility for it. After having the sole changed, they tried evening the sides but used what it seems a metal (or very hard) brush, leaving the boot's sides heavily scratched with irreversible marks on all the leather and metal embellishments.
I told them there were marks and scratches, as well as remaining of glue, and the unfriendly men mentioned all those damages were there before taking the boots in.
If you like your shoes, do not take them to this shop!

I have been going to this family run business for many years and have found Trevor and his father, absolutely wonderful in the service they provide both with repairing shoes and cutting keys. Nothing is too much trouble and it is an entirely professional, proficient and efficient business with the added bonus of it being friendly and welcoming. Most of Putney (including many of my local friends) are customers and are very satisfied with the excellent custom that we receive.

No drama, just very professionally handled, considering the volume of repairs waiting collection! Also I get all my keys cut here too. Such a lovely place and local too. I would highly recommend.
