Unfortunately I would not recommend this service. I sent my wedding heels to be re-heeled and re-soled. When my shoes were returned they had added an ugly brown sole onto my nude heels, which completely changed the look of the shoe. The re-heeling has been carried out to a high standard. I asked for the sole to be repainted with nude paint, which they kindly agreed to.

I returned the shoes and they came back to me weeks later with no change whatsoever! I returned them a third time and they painted slightly higher, but still not a high quality job. They also got brown shoe glue on the patent leather. When my shoes were returned to me, they were returned in a broken Amazon box, not in their original Valentino box with padding and wrapping!

No reasonable explanation was given, but they posted my original shoe box to me afterwards once I requested.

I paid £240 for this poor service, which took a lot of twoing and froing over 4 months and poor quality workmanship on the sole. Communication was always via email but they did always respond.

I’d rather not…
I dropped my louboutin sneakers there and they came back ruined…
Now that I wear them again I can see even more the quality of paint used etc …
I’m addition for the price you pay I’d rather go to Selfridges and pay 45£ for better job cause that one costed me 180 ish I believe and a pair of shoes worth 600£ somehow….
Maybe they are good at other stuffs but sneakers of this complexity I’d say no

This is a total scam. Spent £250 on a pair of Gucci shoes that was told would have come back as good as new and this is the result after 3 times I have worn them after restoration and having the sole changed….The poor job took 1 month and a half even! Any high street shoe repairer would do a better job for less than a tenth of the price. Don’t get conned as I did!

Stay away! I brought in my brand new suede Louboutin to be soled before use, when I got them back they had glitter over it, so deep in the leather that it couldn't be removed not even after 20 minutes of brushing. When the employee saw there was no way to remove it, he tried to blame it on me saying that the glitter was already there when I brought the shoes in, which is absolutely not true as they were brand new from the store and were checked carefully to be in pristine conditions before purchasing them since they are quite expensive. Extremely unprofessional, the service is definitely not worth the price. The owner should also consider hiring staff which is polite and capable of apologizing rather than making up ridiculous excuses, as we all know the attitude in handling a problem makes such a great difference! Please accept my advice and go somewhere else, there are other valid Louboutin shoe care in London.

EDIT: response to owner comment

Dear owner,
Thank you for understanding the frustration, unfortunately a few things stated below don't correspond to what actually happened. I'd like to start with saying that I never raised my voice in the shop, it was actually your colleague who raised his voice at me while I was on my way out, hence my comment. I was also never showed any "before" pictures as your colleague himself said he never took any (most likely because the shoes were brand new from the shop). Your colleague offered to send the shoes back to the lab to repaint them, he also said this would have affected the texture of the shoes, which I obviously refused. I would have appreciated your technician to step ahead and propose a better solution since he was there, but I just guess there wasn't any. The glitter, that was way more than 7-8, was not there when I bought the shoes, and I would have never left this bad review if I received some apologies by your colleague, which I never received.

Repeat customer so I am aware of Shoe Spa and their services over different years . I first went to get some designer shoes serviced a few years ago now. The suede was slightly washed out on the front and they did a fantastic job on bringing them back to life, service was relatively quick, everything stated was met, including deadline.

3 years later, I return post-COVID to service another pair of designer shoes and Nike vintage sneakers. The service and final product I received was vastly different from the first time I went. Firstly, customer service was quite poor, instead of listening to what the customer wanted , what was pushed on me was one size fits all services from Shoe Spa which were not comprehensive, and offered at a very expensive price. After trying to mediate with the Team, I didn’t get anywhere. I can understand COVID affected the business and they have some new prices/services etc. but the customer should be taken seriously. More often, with these types of goods. a bespoke service is what is needed for the client
more often than not, however, Shoe Spa had no acknowledgement for this. Secondly, after waiting several weeks, which is quite a long time for the service in a relative sense, I pick up the two items. Both were not completely done as what Shoe Spa promised in the service. Both under soles they completely ignored after I had asked for soles to be painted. Moreover, the quality of paint in the mid soles on one pair was quite sloppy and not up to standard. After highlighting this, we agreed to have this pair have more work done to it as the work could have been better. Again, this service took a long time to complete. After all work was finally done, the price I paid was very expensive and I was quite surprised that quality of work and quantity paid for that service and level of work.

Several months later, the sole in which was repaired with regard to the Nike trainer is now peeling which makes me again question the quality of work.

Summarising, the quality seems to have deteriorated, the client centric focus seems to have dissipated, the price seems to have inflated. Honestly, guys, I’d recommend just having a good look Instagram / online, there are plenty of new younger shoe / leather restoration professionals who charge competitive prices and produce work to a higher level. There is a whole new demographic who are self trained / professionally trained and are passionate about sneakers / shoes. I’d recommend these people and not ShoeSpa. If you want to pay a very high price, wait a long time and not be guaranteed of quality of services, then, yes, that is what Shoe Spa offer in my opinion.

Complete waste of £272. My shoes were definitely returned to me in better shape than I had sent them. However, when I tried them on, I noticed one of the heels was bent. My shoes were returned to me in May/June, and I have not worn them, hence the reason for my review now.
I contacted Shoe Spa who initially advised they would have notified me, had there been further work needed.
Layla wanted to check their photos of my shoes and sent them to me, saying the heel was bent when I sent them in.
Ok, I hadn’t noticed this when I sent them but why wasn’t I contacted when my shoes were with Shoe Spa. As they had clearly noticed and had photos!
Layla said “sometimes customers get snappy when they are advised further work needs to be done” and this was the reason I wasn’t contacted.
Layla then advised my shoes can be fixed for a further £220, after some discussion, Layla agreed a price of £209 as a gesture of goodwill.
I declined as the total bill would be nearly the price of a new pair of shoes.
Had I been informed at the beginning of the process. I would not have gone ahead with any of the work, I would have bought a new pair of shoes, but was not given the opportunity.
So I’m left with a pair of shoes that I can’t wear and £272 down.
Thanks Shoe Spa!

A first class service and repair! I am so pleased with the excellent repair job the Shoe Spa did for me. My puppy chewed through a zip on a pair of my favourite boots which made one boot unwearable. The new zip is identical to the one they replaced and it's impossible to tell which boot has had the repair. The service team are super-responsive to email and very efficient. It was well worth the money it cost me, as these boots will last me a long time. I would definitely use this company again. Thank you Shoe Spa!
