will NOT be using these again..... total scam artists. Took a mens pair of shoes in and asked how much to have the heels repaired as they had come off.... the guy told us that it would be £6 to repair them. When i went to collect them today he charged me £12 insisting that it was £6 per shoe... what a load of rubbish... we presented them as a pair to be repaired and he def said the cost would be £6..... complete rip off! will never be using them again.... BEWARE as if you dont pay up you dont get your shoes back...

Took a Doc Marten boot in for zip replacement, very speedy work but unfortunately shoddy work that I cannot recommend. I should have checked the boot more thoroughly before paying as they did not finish the job. The zip was not cut down to size, leaving me to cut 10cm of excess off. The stitching was of exceptionally poor quality. I regret taking my precious boot to those butchers!

Great shop. Would much rather pay a little more to invest in family run business and good quality service. Was recommended by Ernest Jones for watch repair. Have been back since with work shoes and quality is great.

I would use Timpsons. They are half the price, much more polite, take payment by cards ( Repair plus only take cash) and only 200 yards away.

I went to Timpsons to have my shoe repaired and they suggested i would need a few days until i could collect them, however, due to how rude the staff were i decided to look elsewhere. Therefore, I took my work shoes to Repairs Plus. Even though they were forming holes on the sole of my shoe they were expensive and good quality shoes, so i was keen to have them repaired rather than replaced. The shop owner, was able to replace the sole and make them look as good as new and repaired them within 1 day.

Nevertheless, brilliant service with a great outcome, so thank you Repairs Plus and i'll be sure to recommend these guys over Timpsons.

I needed a key cut, the man at the counter said it would take two minutes... I swear it took him less than 30 seconds. Impressive! Would happily get keys cut there again.

This man has to be the most unhappiest person I’ve ever met, either that of he is the most antisocial, ignorant man in the UK. Customer relation is clearly not on his list of priorities, it was almost as I had interrupted his less than busy day. Worth the visit just to be insulted or ignored 😂😂😂😂

Terry at Repairs Plus has brillaint craftsmanship and customer service.My broken sandal was too much of a challenge to the four timpsons shop i took it to- in st albans, welwyn garden city and two in hatfield.One look at it and Terry said it can be repaired and ready the very next day.Local solo businesses like these should be treasured and promoted.Highly recommended as one can see from his work he has years of experience behind him and no repair a challenge.
