Fairly pricey. Did have some heels done at great yarmouth timpson and they wore down within a month. Apparently they had put the wrong type of heel on them. But it was the right colour for the shoe. Went to the tesco copdock timpson for a repair and he would only put one on if I paid again! Went to the sudbury tesco timpson instead and there was a totally different attitude. No quibble just said yeah leave it with me and it will be done in half an hour. Good service if you shop around. Don't mind paying extra if you get good quality in service and goods!

Took my working iPhone 7 to have the screen replaced but as the screen was black, however still functioning as I was still able to hear when I got a message through, he put this down to 'not functioning' as he was unable to do any pre checks. I knew before I took my phone there it was still in working condition as the morning before I took it there I was able to charge it and iPhones vibrate when you plug them in and it did that. However I took my phone in for the screen to be replaced went to pick this up a few hours later to be told my phone is no longer in working condition and that he had changed the screen to see it would not work, yet when it was handed back to me I still had the smashed screen and for the led screen to be replaced they need to be glued on, so there was no way he had done this as he would not then be able to take it back off to put my old, smashed screen back on. He did not charge me for this as he stated 'he didn't do anything' other than break the glass even more on my screen and also the home button now does not work or does it charge now. So all thanks to them I no longer have a phone nor one to just get the screen replaced. I will have to pay out for full repairs as I now have no idea what he has damaged inside for it to no longer be in working condition!!! Not impressed and will NOT return to them again and will never recommend!

Probably the most expensive watch batteries in town.
Gotta respect the fella who works there, he has the determination to be that moody harsh and short on every occasion I have ever been in there. I feel like setting a challenge first person to find him having a good day! That attitude takes effort and grit jesus it's like his a prisoner in that box in the carpark held against his will. I feel like asking him does he need to be rescued.
Oh well its convenient and slightly peculiar for a visit if your desperate like I was.

I brought two watches in for battery changes.

On collection, Watch #1 had the second hand dislodged. Watch #2 appeared to be working fine, but the next day it was still slow.

We returned to timpson for a second attempt. Watch #1 fixed, watch #2 appeared to be fixed, but was still slow the next day.

We ended up going to a different watch specialist, who have told us the watch can’t be fixed with a new battery, as someone has irreparably damaged the watch by changing the battery incorrectly.

This is the only occasion that the battery has been changed.

Timpson’s Customer service have refused to help - the reason cited is that I sought third party advice, so my contract is now with the new watch specialist.

I went there over a week ago, I was informed I had to have a specialist key ordered in, but as of yet I haven't heard anything I'm wondering if I have been scammed as he said it would be there mid week, I will update if I get my key
Edit 2weeks later I ring to see about my key, guy has no records of it being ordered, going there to get my money back today, we shall see if he scams me. Because on the phone he was saying how he wouldent have taken payment before

Wanted to charge me 18quid to remove a couple of watch bracelet links and 10 to replace a battery..morrisons do all that for 12. I'll be waiting for morrisons to open.
