Great place for children's shoes. Wide variety and knowledgeable staff. Reasonably high prices though

Brilliant local shoe shop focussed on kids. A wide selection, thoughtful kid friendly staff and a great place to get your kid's feet measured properly.

We love Biff, it's our go-to place for school shoes as our daughter has very narrow feet and they stock the only brand that seems to fit - Petasil. Seems we're not alone as I was amazed to find the shop absolutely rammed at 4.45pm on a rainy Friday in mid August. You clearly have to get in there early to avoid disappointment - choice is reduced towards the end of August.

That said, the staff are very knowledgeable and make it clear the shoe picks you, not the other way around. They take care to make sure the style and fit is suitable for your child's foot shape with room to grow. Whilst you may initially pick a particular shoe to try on, if that's not a good fit, then the assistant will direct you to one that is - I always leave the shop confident the purchase will not rub and cause blisters.

It's this personal touch and attention to detail with the fit that raises Biff above the high street chains. The brands they stock are on the more expensive side, but they last. We bought just 2 pairs last school year and only because the first pair got too tight. Overall a first class service

Love this shoe shop. They always have what we need and a selection of shoes for the children to choose from. Experienced staff mean you always get a shoe that fits and lasts.

Brilliant shoe shop with friendly staff and a great range of high quality products. Need to book during the Covid pandemic, but worth the effort.

This was the first shoe shop we took our little boy to. The staff are amazing with little children. Very patient and skilled at making them feel relaxed. The range of shoes is good, the loyalty scheme generous and prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend.
