Absolutely the best service I've ever experienced for any purchase. Knowledgeable, friendly professional staff who go the extra mile for customer service. Beautiful selection of shoes. I would happily buy all my shoes from here. Certainly worth walking up the high street to see what they have. Peter the owner was a huge help and nothing was too much effort for him, even when I tried on no less than 10 pairs of shoes!

What an amazing show shop for comfortable and well made shoes! Not to mention the lovely, friendly and genuine service!! They're celebrating 30years of trading this August so it just goes to show what a brilliant service they provide to the area in the face of a changing high high street. The two ladies in there today kept my son entertained (they loved playing with him & vice versa) whilst I bought a pair of brilliant sandals in the sale. I was recommended this shop by a friend and I will be paying it forward as well as returning. Great job guys, thank you.

Peter is an absolute expert in shoes and his love for his shop and his customers is evident. Patient, attentive and knowledgeable - plus the cosy shop is a welcome change from any chain store. Peter will happily advise you or leave you to it, he once even repaired my old shoes from him whilst I tried on new ones. Who doesn't love a shoe shop with a rocking chair! The shoes are exceptional quality and last years.

Really love the shoes but they're in the upper price range so not affordable to everyone. I like the Legero lace ups which come a variety of colours and in suede and leather . They sell Josef Seibel too. They do have good sales with sizeable mark downs. Their staff are very helpful.

I have been buying my shoes at Wanders for at least a dozen years now and have always been impressed by the range of shoes and the excellent customer service. Peter and his colleagues are welcoming, attentive and very knowledgeable. A very traditional service and always a pleasure to see that some standards have been upheld in the High Street retail sector.
