Very disappointing today! for 16 years i've shopped in Clarks shoes for all my kids, and have never met or seen anyone so unhelpful and rude. The sales assistant simply couldn't be bother to serve me, she was like you either take the shoes that I advised you or don't buy it at all! I asked if we could try a slightly wider fit shoe so we can compare it before making the decision, but she was very abrupt and unhappy to show me a different size. We left without buying and as we walked out, she shouted are those shoes not good enough for you, to which we replied, yes it's just we don't like your customer service...we ended up buying a pairs of shoes and a pair of boots from Johnsons Shoes down the road a total of £120.00.

Excellent shopping experience and service today from Leah (assistant number 50). Leah was very patient, kind and professional with my Son measuring his feet and fitting his new school shoes and trainers today. Store overseen by Leanne (Trainer /Manager) and even though there was an impromptu fire evaction, She dealt with everything in a calm, polite and professional manor.
Good selection of shoes and trainers to choose from.
Would highly recommended this store.

Lovely spacious store with friendly staff. I always shop here for my daughter - I know the staff are trained fitters so I trust them, and there’s always a lot of choice. The manager was really helpful yesterday.

A really genuine and friendly staff member helped me out when I was trying to buy insoles. He was very bubbly and easy for customers to talk to because he was laughing and joking. But whilst joking, he was very knowledgable and gave me good advice. I didn't get his name but hopefully the store can identify who I am referring to.

Very helpful staff and cheerful staff. I asked a sales advisor whether she could recommend the shoe stretcher and she said yes she actually used it and it worked. Very helpful and honest.

If it was possible rate it 0 I would. I walked into the store unmasked due to having asthma and finding it very difficult to breathe to have the lady whom worked there challenge me on this I explained I didn't wear one due to being exempt. Rather than accept this she muttered under her breath "well it is the law." After this incident entailed I witnessed a lady walk into the store no mask on yet she was holding and walk right past the shop assistant whom had just pretty much been very passive aggressive with me and said absolutely nothing. It was discrimination at its finest. Absolutely disgusted and once I mentioned to the shop assistant this lady wasn't wearing as mask she completely dismissed it as it's my job to ask, however if they are a more mature, and affluent the law doesn't count. I have been to this shop for countless of years since having my children and I would expect that a Clarke's store member wouldn't challenge a customer Infront of their children. Absolutely disgusted and will not be back.

Picked up an order shoes good as expected
