I have been buying shoes and having them serviced through this store for several years. I have always found the staff to be highly informative and polite.

They offer a good range of shoes and cleaning materials, all of which are of a very high standard.

Highly recommended. Their shoes are a real investment. Look after them well and they’ll last a lifetime. They’ve not yet outlasted me though.

Poor customer service. Very unhelpful and rude staff. Did not seem interested or invested in the products they were selling. Ended up going to bow street outlet where I had a very pleasant experience totally professional and knowledgable staff and I bought 2 sets of shoes.

I rarely write reviews, if at all, however in this case I feel it’s 100% justified. The Manager of the Lime St. shop, Alex is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a true credit to the Cheaney group, with his colleagues at this shop also just as knowledgeable and helpful.

The care and pride to my shoes (Made in England!) from purchased to polish and also refurb is second to none and you’re truly valued as a customer for life not only when you’ve walked out the shop from buying a pair of shoes.

I'll start by coming clean that, as the owner of a small bespoke tailors shop outside of the city, my shoe brand of choice for sale in my shop is actually Barker (at least, their more classic models that are ACTUALLY made in England) whom myself and my father have had a long and fruitful professional relationship. That being said, it's no secret that I regularly recommend Cheaney as an alternative and believe them to be the finest offering of ready-to-wear shoes available and truly good value-for-money.

Lime Street's Manager, Alex, is a true gentleman and a true expert in his field. Should you be in the market for a pair of new shoes, there's few better chaps to help you out in all of London town. It's a testament to him that, despite my professional relationship with Barker, I will continue to recommend Alex and Joseph Cheaney to my clients in an effort to promote great shoes, great aftercare, and great service!

I’ve been going to the Lime Street store for several years now. Scott who runs the store really knows his onions and always delivers a top class service. Shoes are of the highest quality and in my view continue to be as good as you can get.
