Clarks

Really awful customer service. I couldn't believe how rude and passive aggressive the staff were to us today. We went in to ask about whether we could have our daughter's feet measured for shoes; there was one other customer in the store. The assistant we spoke to said we should have booked and they would be busy all day (fair enough, it's the holidays). So we asked how long it might be, she told us to take a ticket and we'd probably have to wait for ages, there were only two staff and they were absolutely rammed. We look around at an almost totally empty shop. "Can I borrow a measuring machine to measure her feet then?" "No. Take a ticket and wait."
They were not polite, they were not friendly, it may not be their fault they only have two staff but given they were making a big fuss about how busy they would be in the Easter holidays it seems like a massive oversight. The assistant's tone was just so rude, I was really shocked. We went next door to a competitor, measured my daughter's feet ourselves, chose and purchased a pair of shoes in about 5 minutes. Their customer service was excellent. And when we walked back past Clarks there were no customers, so they probably would have had time to help us had they not been so rude and made us want to leave. Unbelievable. Oh, and the shoes we bought elsewhere were cheaper and they were still leather, well made and a lovely fit, so I don't think we'll be back in Clarks any time soon.

Really quite disappointed with the store. I booked an appointment online as I know how busy it can be, I turn up and they just told to "wait". My appointment time comes and goes. The lady managing the queue said: oh, I'll go and find someone.... She leaves....and I never see her again. Another person comes and they say they'll find me someone. That takes more time.

Finally with the fitting, the guy didn't really care and was just "going through the motions". I only asked to see two pairs of shoes but was made to feel like I was a real imposition.

I won't be going back to this store.

Took my son in for new shoes, the staff member was so attentive Kelsey was her name. A credit to the store .

I recently came into clarks Woking and was served by Uma. The service she provided was incredible i was very impressed and left very happy with the service i received.

Recently visited the Woking Clark’s store, and received valuable service from Kelsey when looking for a pair of shoes for myself. I feel as like the product range has improved greatly, as well at the atmosphere, making a pleasurable shopping experience!

Really good experience with one of the employees today Uma - she was so friendly and chatty was very quick to serve me :) x
