Blunts Shoes Leicester

I live in Colorado, America. I bought a pair of new 6 and a half Clarks wave trek shoes from this store off of ebay. The store sent me the wrong size a UK 4 which translates by the conversion chart to be a US 6. I informed the store of this error. According to their return policy if the error is the store's fault they will pay for postage. I had already mailed them the shoes back and paid 71 dollars for international shipping with tracking. This was my only option if I wanted tracking. The store refused to refund my shipping back, even with an email from Ebay directing them to do so. This store refused to honor their own return shipping policy! I am very upset, as I have never had any trouble with any other seller on Ebay. If you purchase from this store, you do so at great risk! Great range but the service is terrible. Staff cannot check whether they have items in sizes in stock from the counter and then spend ages in the stock room looking for the item then returned to say they don't have it. You can't make a quick visit as it just takes so long to get shoes in the right size

Reasonable selection of shoes and boots. But service is abysmal. Terrible staff who are incapable of answering questions pertaining to the items and resolving doubts about the merchandise. The only thing they are capable of doing promptly is telling customers off for looking for different shoe models because "customers are not allowed to touch the boxes". Poor customer skills over all and blunt responses. Explains the name of the store I suppose.

Blunts has a large stick, covering various manufacturers. Good. But it is massively let down by scruffy carpets and signage and poor customer service.

Today I placed my first order with Blunts. There was a question regarding sale price of some sandals I was intending to purchase so I went on their "Chat" service. The gentleman there answered my questions but could not resolve the issue . I rang the shop this afternoon and a lovely lady by the name of Jamie was quick to help me and answer my questions and resolved my query. I found her very patient , helpful and courteous and she is a credit to Blunts. I will certainly purchase there again. (By the way if you have any queries that can't seem to be satisfactorily answered I would suggest ringing rather than online Chat service

A proper old shoe shop, like there were back in the day before brands had their own outlets, back when you could go to a shoe shop and not a trainer store.
With a famous :p sign and a large eBay presence Blunts shoes is the Best (and currently only place ,. Since that shoe shop with another great family me begining with 'C' closed ) in Leicester to get a good quality, hard working pair of shoes.

Bought ladies shoes for Christmas for my mother but couldn't get shipment in time for Christmas and wanted a refund to send it as cash for her to buy herself present but was denied a refund. They have got a notice by the till written in small print and on their customers receipt doesn't say anything about refunds.
I was gobsmacked and upset to the core.
I will never get into a Blunts shoes ever in my life and my family too.

Great selection of shoes for all ages and at very reasonable prices. Whenever I have visited Blunts Leicester I have always been given excellent customer service by all staff.
