I entered this shop today to try and purchase a new pair of shoes for work. (Nhs band 3).
I had already discovered the blue light card I have would be able to be used in store on purchases and was within the offer date.

When I went in, there was only one member of staff on the shop floor and she was on the phone and didn't seem to be engaging eye contact. I waited, browsing as I did so, until another customer came in and interrupted the member of staff on the till
The member of staff finally put the phone down and helped this customer so I took the opportunity to ask for help which she was very good with.

However. Another colleague came in with her coat still on and ended up serving customers before her shift even started as she announced this to the several people in the shop.
The lady helping me was very nice but she tried to sell me half the orthotics on display without actually acknowledging it was the style of shoe causing problems with fit on my foot than the orthotics themselves.

She also said they didn't offer discount so when I showed her the blue light card website, with the information clearly displaying the offer still valid she didn't seem to know much about it.

She wasn't very helpful with her knowledge and she did nag a bit as to what I apparently needed.

I did what I needed to do

I left the store and spent my 65 pounds on a beautiful pair of Clark's shoes that have replaced my old pair.
I wasted an hour of my life in this shop so I doubt I'll be hurrying back to shuropody.

I made a big effort to go to this store after having a very positive experience in Winchester Shuropody while on holiday. This was the most local store to me but it was still over an hours drive to get there. The store was closed for lunch but we waited 3/4 hour in a coffee shop next door. I was so disappointed. The customer service was terrible. No greeting or 'Can I help you'? Just a curt response to an enquiry about an item. The lady kept sorting out shelves right nest to us, fussing about with them which was quite off putting but she never once enquired what I was looking for. I had a budget of a few hundred pounds to spend on shoes stocked only in this store but left after 5 minutes feeling I had completely wasted me time. And not a word spoken to as we left either.

I requested an appointment online, detailing exactly why I wanted the appointment. It was then booked over the phone. When I got there, I was asked what my problem was. The podiatrist said the half hour appointment I had been booked in for was not what I needed! I was told what had actually been booked for me was a quick half hour treatment which was not what I specified. I was then told I'd be charged for this - £35 for a waste of my time and a treatment I didn't want! I won't be going here again. I left after 5 minutes having been let down, total shambles.

Lots of sale items in this store 'up to' 70% off, although I didn't notice one item with that discount.
Spotted a few things at 50% off or less, but disappointed that Skechers weren't in the sale at all .. I do like a bargain Skecher - and although they sell them I have never seen them reduced here.
They have a foot clinic at the premises so I imagine most of the footwear they sell is comfy and good for your tootsies.

Saw some lovely sandals in the window and went in to the shop to have a look. After a couple of minutes a lady approached me to ask if I needed any help. I mentioned that I liked the sandals in the window and then got my size to try on. She commented on my lovely feet and toes for my age 65....they fitted perfectly and will be going back tomorrow for the same...but a different colour. Excellent customer service..thankyou

Just like to THANK HELEN I believe for helping my wife with her Joya shoes and also to her attention to detail with the insoles, walking around Exeter with no pain in her heels or toes.
The experience was brilliant and we will come back again to let her check on the improvements.
Many thanks
Robert and Pauline lear.
Ps Hoping that you will have sandals for the summer.
