Pleasant little shop, a proper place to buy quality shoes. Elizabeth in particular was really lovely to speak with and had great advice when it came to sizing and long term care. The impressive hand crafted quality is worth every penny! I'll be back.

I reached out online and was told to go to Crockett & Jones to gauge my sizing as they supply some of their Prince Albert slippers.

After doing so, I placed my order. Unfortunately, the shoes still proved to be too big after trying them on in my home.

Bowhill & Elliot does not provide a return slip and I then needed to pay $40 for return shipping (in addition to the £25 shipping they charged me to send the shoes initially).

Further, Bowhill is outrageously claiming that the shoes were returned unsellable and will be deducting £50 from my refund.

This has been some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I whole heartedly do not recommend purchasing anything from Bowhill & Elliot online.

Great selection of handmade shoes. Very helpful staff with extensive product knowledge. Old fashioned service, but not stuffy. I had fun whilst buying my shoes. They do a nice G&T to boot

If you can save up enough to buy a pair of shoes, to last a lifetime, and feel like heaven to wear, just shop here. You will keep the industry alive, and be a proud owner of classic fashionable shoes.

If you walk into Bowhill & Elliot you really are getting the best customer experience you could wish for. All of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They are attentive and really spend the time ensuring the product you leave with is perfect. This is because they are proud of what they sell and there is good reason for this. I have purchased shoes for my wedding. They are truly the nicest pair of well constructed shoes I have ever tried. It took three visits to ensure they were right as I was colour matching to the suit I was also buying locally. Each visit was better than the last. I am very tempted to buy more.

Exceptional service and amazing handmade quality !
I made an enquiry through whatsapp and Marc was a great listener to my needs.
I ended up choosing a navy harris tweed version of the slippers, which they apparently custom made for me.
The build quality is amazing, soft sole, very very very comfortable and looking great.
I would recommend Bowhill & Elliott to anyone looking for quality slippers.
