I came here durung the summer holidays to see if there were any suitable school shoes for my son. I didn't take a ticket as I only came to browse but my son ended up finding a pair of shoes that he liked. The only problem was we didn't have our own dedicated assistant so it took time for one of the staff to find us the right size and pay for the shoes. The shoes were slightly bigger than needed so one of the staff gave us a insole which helped.
I just happened to come at a busy time but the staff still helped when they could. One thing my Don noticed about the shoes is that the laces were thick and of good quality which allows them to stay tied. We have not that nowadays most shoes tend to have cheap quality laces that do not remain tied up.

Went here to buy shoes for granddaughter for school. Didn't realise you can book an appointment in advance. Would recomend booking if your on a busy schedule. We had to wait about half an hour to be served. Staff were very helpful and there was a good choice available.

A great shop for all the family. Our assistant Sharlotts was so helpful, she went there extra mile to help get me shoes that fit my awkward feet! Thank you Sharlott I'm sure you are a blessing to others as well

We found the staff and manager at this branch very helpful and polite. No waiting around, seen very quickly and childs feet measured and new shoes chosen in no time. We also had a return. Great experience here at The Lakes Clark’s.

I ordered a pair of long black boots from this store as they were an older style and no longer kept in stock. I was notified that they had been delivered to the store as requested. Upon arrival in turned out they were brown not black. Over the hill rides Laura who sounds ages trawling their stock online and after some time managed to locate a pair for me. She was absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. What an asset she is to this store.

Been here to get first shoes for both my children and always had good service. Kind and patient staff measuring feet and helping to choose the right shoes. My daughter was easier to shop for but as my son had a high arch they were able to advise us on the right shoes (and told us what to avoid early on too)

The sales assistant Isaac was an absolute gentleman and a real asset to the shop making me feel valued as a customer. Always willing to go above and beyond to suggest suitable alternatives. Intention was just to go browsing, and I walked out buying 4 pairs of footwear. Very happy and I will definitely be visiting again.
