Ogam Igam

Took my daughter today for her first shoes which her sisters were very excited to buy her. Her sisters were touching other shoes on the shelf and also the measuring device which I didn't see no harm in myself but the lady told her to leave it alone and move away. I don't appreciate other people telling my children off. After driving from bridgend to visit this shop after seeing all the nice photos on the Facebook page I was very disappointed the shop is smalller than expected and didn't have any shoes to fit my daughter. Not a child friendly shop as the lady who measured her feet didnt even make attempt to communicate with her .

I am so pleased I discovered Ogam Igam in Penarth, near Cardiff, five years ago! I found the perfect comfortable sandals there and have been back regularly for new supplies and have always been cheerfully and successfully served. It's a small shop, aimed primarily at children, but sells exactly what I need, painlessly!! And parking is usually easy too!

We have bought our children's shoes from Ogam Igam for years as we like to support independent local businesses, the shoes are lovely and great quality, and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. Our recent trip to the shop was however very disappointing. We were spoken to rudely by the person who served us, and were made to feel like a real inconvenience being there with our children. They were well behaved but are typical children and like to have a look around and touch some of the shoes on display. We were given the impression our children were a nuisance as soon as we entered the shop. There was also limited engagement with our children by this person, especially when our daughter tried to excitedly tell her a story. Our daughter was a little upset at this. Despite going ahead with the purchase, the attitude towards us remained disdainful. We will think twice about shopping here again.

A lovely shop with friendly staff and a great selection of shoes for both adults and children. First class customer service when I've had after-sales queries too.

Highly recommend Ogam Igam for your children's shoes. I'm confident shopping here as I know the children's feet and shape have been accurately measured. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of woman's shoes too.

The staff is helpful and great with children. I went there to buy the first shoes for my daughter. I found an excellent variety of shoes. The lady who measured my daughter's foot was amazing, she loved it! The prices are very reasonable too. There is also a car park in front of the shop that made my day much easier. I am recommending this shop to all my friends.
