The Brogue Trader

Myself, my husband and our 11 month old daughter visited Brogue Trader today and what a lovely experience it was. We were served by Stephen who clearly had a extensive knowledge of mens shoes and what a lovely man he was. We were made to feel welcome and at ease. We bought a lovely pair of comfortable shoes for our upcoming holiday to Italy and I’m sure we will be back to buy more pairs from the wonderful people at Brogue Trader in the future.

Popped in today looking for some wedding shoes. Staff were excellent, can't say the same for the pair of socks I was wearing which had free air conditioning! Left with a lovely pair of navy blue shoes for the big day.

Top service from both of the gentleman in the shop. Was stressing about shoes soon as I went in they picked me a colour I would of never dreamt of picking which was burgundy. Went with my suit lovely. Shoes are top quality was not in my range of what I was looking to spend but I could not leave the shop with out buying them as it went with my suit so well! Made me feel so we’ll come both funny and knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I've bought several pairs of shoes and boots from the shop and the customer service is by far the best that I've experienced.
Today I went in with a pair of Loake boots that I bought 4years ago that I got fat on while I was cooking.
Without hesitation the boot was taken to see what could be done. It came back after a little while much improved and offered great advice on blending a little colour to further improve the appearance.
While we were waiting myself and my wife were offered a cup of coffee too.
I bought some green shoe cream for the pair of Trickers shoes that I was wearing which I've struggled to find previously, also cream to blend the colour to improve the appearance further and also a couple of pairs of lovely Welsh made socks.

I can't recommend this shop enough, it's much more than just a shoe shop, it's always a great experience.

I have never written a review but shopping here was an absolute pleasure from start to end.
We felt welcome just to look and have a beer. As it was, the selection of footwear was fabulous and the level of care was excellent so there was no way I was leaving without buying.
I have had less care and attention purchasing a car. Go - you won’t be disappointed.

This weekend saw my first visit to The Brogue Trader and it certainly won't be my last. From the moment I walked through the door, James and his team were amazing. I took my time exploring the fantastic variety of shoes that they had to offer, once I had finished exploring the range I knew what I wanted. James then took his time to talk me through my Chosen boot and his knowledge of the product was first class. This is more than just a shoe shop and a real gem in the heart of the City, with its family philosophy running throughout. I would highly recommend paying a visit as the experience was second to none.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish from James. I turned up pretty much as they were closing as my suit fitting had run over, but this wasn't an issue in the slightest for James who took his time with me trying on loads of different shoe suggestions. I was given a drink and made to feel like nothing was too much effort. Walked away with a beautiful pair of shoes.
