University Hospital of Wales Concourse

None of us enjoy hospital visits, but this concourse softens the blow as I look forward to going. I can sit and relax with a coffee and snack. Plus newspaper and general goods available. A Mini shopping centre in the hospital, what a brilliant idea this was. So thanks again for making our lives that much easier.

I have been to most of the hospitals in Wales, and this concourse area is the best of them. A bit busy around lunchtime, but you get comfy seats and a good range of shops. My only gripe is that it's a bit like a motorway service station with prices to match and it might be nice to have more options for hot food. Overall it serves its purpose very well.

After our appointment we visited the concorse, large area with seating, shops, boots, cafes and a post office. Good place to gather your thoughts and have a bite to eat and drink. Lots of parking available.

Car parks full to overflowing had to drive around approx 45 mins even leaving hospital site and reentering before finally finding space when persons leaving.

Not very well sign posted once in the grounds. Couldn't find the main entrance. Parking was OK though. Wouldn't buy a cup of tea again as very expensive

Actually my wife had a phone call asking her to make her way to A & E last Saturday afternoon. Luckily after tests everything was fine. The staff were great working under enormous pressure. The part of the building we were in looked like it had been hit by an Exocet missile. Let's hope the NHS survives this crisis, comes out stronger and returns to its former glory so the population of the country benefits from all the expertise it undoubtedly has.👍

This shop everyone should shop at, not Just visiting the hospital I'm starting to go there,as if popping into town, But go to the heath hospital instead. Beautiful clothes not like everyone is going to be wearing your top or dress such a choice quality clothes too, and I am a biggish Lady,I Always get something that fits, that's why I love it,. I was in this hospital for 7 week's and they did look after me. The concours is great with everything you need, including a post office. I was there in the summer, and my family would wheel me out to the bench area outside where we would drink our coffee from the coffee shop and relax 😌
