I went here for 2 years. It was okay at times but a lot of bullys at times which the teachers didn't really do much about. Some of the teachers was amazing but others was really amazing and wanted to help their students

not a good school. i use to go there but i moved because of the racism and the assumptions some teachers make. i was being rude and appointed at by teachers just because of how few non white people there are. some teachers do make good effort and put their pupils first such as in pe when i was upset about not being able to do basketball the teacher made sure i could play

The school did nothing for the bullying I received. Some of the kids that attend here from very rough areas of Leicester and they are all badly behaved and nasty. Whenever school has finished, they would usually walk to bus stops further down to get the best seats, they would also walk into neighbourhoods and terrorising students that live in Countesthorpe. They would follow me into my own street and throw stones at me or at people's cats.. All wore the same clothes. All I had to do was walk past a group of kids in the corridor and I would get shouted at, get called "retarded" or they would try and trip me up or touch me in innapropriate places. I became terrified of people from this point. They constantly mocked me for being shy instead of giving me a chance.

I also have Dyslexia and Asd and was dumped in classes full of kids not wanting to learn or couldn't learn. Some teachers could not control the class.

When I was there, they put me on Foundation tier for almost everything even though I achieved A*s in previous exams. Meaning the highest grade you could get was a C and only a D in Maths. They messed up my education all due to ignorance and the assumption that I was unable to learn because I was different. In the year 2007 I was bullied in sixth form again. Teachers did not turn up to my classes and hence had no work to do.

Things only improved when I left to study A levels at Leicester College. I got straight A's , did a foundation Degree and went to a good University where I achieved a first. I don't think I would have been able to achieve that if I stayed another year at Countesthorpe.

Terrible school.Had to pull my child out in year 8..The head of the school is useless. No safeguardings in place.Children harassing other children, very disruptive in class. This is why I pulled my child out the disruptive in class was so bad, there education was failing and they could not concentrate in class.Bullying is high in the school. As soon as we moved, into a better school grades went up.

If you want you're child to go to a big youth club, this is the school for you...Safeguardings are non existence, bullying policy not in place its a free for all...

Heard more stories from parents who have pulled there children out, with inappropriate language, high bullying, teachers seem to hide the fact that any bullying is happening, nothing in place for children with any special arrangements and so on..

This is the worst school I’ve ever been to this was my first secondary school but I left it after year 8, The 2 other schools I went to after this were bad but not to this level, since I left this school I definitely feel like I’ve left my trauma behind me. I still get some really bad memories but I guess I’m just gonna have to live with all the awful things people have said to me

I went to this school a long time ago. I was bullied alot, and the teachers did nothing about it. From reading the reviews it sounds like nothing has changed. My own children will never go to a school like this one. Due to the lack of support, I could not wait to leave school at 16. Luckily I landed a good job and completed professional studies through that. I could concentrate because I was not being bullied. I found this school a very nagative place. Before attending this school I had liked school, and I had been a social person. Leaving here was the best day of my life, which is sad really.
