What excellent service! I had my gait analysed by Beth, who was both knowledgeable and friendly, and after a run on the treadmill I found that I had been wearing the wrong shoes - which were also a couple of sizes too small! - for my gait for the last two years. No wonder I kept going through the toes! There was plenty of choice at The Running Outlet but with Beth's help I narrowed the choices down to the perfect pair of running shoes for me. I am looking forward to many miles of comfortable running in my new shows. Really fab, expert service. Thoroughly recommended.

Popped in on a Friday for advice & gait analysis. Excellent customer service, didn't feel rushed or pressured to purchase. Lovely lady who served me took the time to properly analyse and explain my gait and what would work best for me. I'm very obviously a beginner but never felt treated as such during my interaction. First class, all my future running shoe purchases will be made here in future.

First class experience, walked in as a needed some guidance trainers to help with some shin splints. I was straight onto tread mill for gait analysis. Full detailed explanation as to how I was running and why I needed certain type of trainer. Tried a number of options to find the best one. Left with new trainers and they did the job perfectly. 5k test run and no pain. This place know what they are talking about!

I came into the store in desperate need of last minute shoes for a Camino. I had chosen the wrong shoes and with only a day before the trip to Spain, I was in a bit of a panic. I needn't worry - Beth saved my feet and my Camino.

Beth listened very carefully to what I needed and my concerns. I have an old injury that causes pain on the lateral side of my foot. I needed a wide-toe box and a size-up; Beth educated me regarding foot swelling and how to manage my feet while suggesting four types of shoes. I ended up choosing two pairs and wore them throughout my Camino.

Visited the running outlet today. Very thorough gait check and trying of footwear. Katie was very patient with me. Can't thank her enough for all her help and knowledge. Purchased a pair of trainers today that I am very happy with. Totally recommend this place. Excellent service xx

I am disappointed at my shopping experience there. We live in the US and my wife ordered a Gore running jacket in size "small" in November. We received an item "medium". We emailed the company to inquire how we could exchange it for a small and got zero response. Thinking this was a mistake, we went ahead and ordered another size small and continued to inquire about sending the wrong item back. We finally received a response, which included nothing but a UK domestic shipping label. We asked for an international shipping label as we are in the US. We were then told that the size we received was not the wrong size. We were denied the shipping label, and were told that US size small is in fact equivalent of UK size medium. We find that claim incredulous. We have ordered from UK and European websites before, and had never heard about this size discrepancy. Gore is an international brand, and no where does the label indicate which country the label is based on. And even if this claim were true, it was not made on the website. Now we are stuck with an item we can't use. And by the way we still have not received our second item which we ordered in the beginning of December. This was our first time ordering from this website, and we are utterly disappointed about our experience.

I ordered a pair of trainers online and when they arrived they were too small. I called customer service and said that I needed the next size up but there was only 1 pair available so the lady I spoke to said I should order that pair and send the other pair back for a refund. I sent them via Royal mail on the Monday (pre paid by the Running Outlet) and on Wednesday I had my refund! Amazingly quick refund, friendly customer service staff and excellent shopping experience. Highly recommend. I'll definitely buy from The Running Outlet again.
