The best shop in town. All the staff are friendly & always helpful. Nothing is to much trouble. Good stock of magazines and everything you need. I have shopped here for years and will continue to do so. 5 stars is not enough.....should be 10+.

WHSmith, must surely be the next high Street disaster, the stores are worn and dank, there are never enough staff in sight, in order to give the image of a well managed store.

The throughfare and exitage is cluttered with so called bargains.

Simply put, I lough and detest shopping at W. H. Smith!!!

Very small WHSmiths shop, lots of clutter, narrow isles, too much junk in such a little store, hard to navigate around as similar items in multiple places, staff looked unfriendly and unhelpful, I quickly browsed round and left without a purchase , I will not be returning and I personally would never recommend this little shop to anyone, can’t even see how this store manages to stay open

W H Smith does not sell any gcse maths text books. They just sell revision books.... hmm. So does Waterstone

Downstairs always tidy and straightforward for magazines and stationery. Upstairs is like a jumble sale and disorganised.

Well stocked. Missing one star as there are never enough star on the shop floor. The counter staff are fine

Wow! How WHSmith has gone downhill! Three young women at the tills chatting - unable to give us any assistance and a further member of staff also having a long personal conversation at the back of the shop.
No "can I help you?" or "let me show you" - decided to go to the local newsagents where we were greeted with a smile and lots of help.

Good shop, but women worker wasn't polite.
