As soon as I walked into the store one of the ladies with short hair, was bitching about other staff members and was clearly having a bad day, I thought nothing of it until she served me at the till with a face like a slapped ass and such an aggressive tone. Will make sure if I go to this store again to not get served by her. Very rude unprofessional lady, with poor help and manners. Disgusted.

I wanted to shop at Smith I thought it would be the best place to buy my child's crayons. After selecting my purchase I approached the till to find two sales people chatting about their day amongst themselves their hair their makeup generally what they're going to have for dinner the cashier only acknowledge me with a nod and carried on talking to the other cashier while serving I feel very undervalued as a customer and probably will not visit the wh smiths at Eltham due to unprofessionalism from sales staff.

Really disappointed, appreciate it was approaching Christmas but lots of items out of stock, staff unable to find stock they are supposed to have and staff seemed stressed and reluctant to help. May not be representative of the norm for this Branch, but you only get one chance to make a first impression.

The shop is ok and set out nicely ..I went to eltham se9 branch buy I have to be honest in saying that the prices were way over the top for many of the stationary items ,books and cards that are identical to those you can get in the works which is situated about 300 yards away ..I paid £5.56 for two birthday cards !! ..I can't imagine they sell much more than newspapers and magazines of which the prices cannot be hiked up

Still the go to place for stationery, cards and magazines in Eltham and generally affordable offers throughout the year. Staff always friendly and helpful but thought needs to be given to till/queuing arrangements on the ground floor.

Worse branch ever. Staff are not friendly and unhelpful. It's ridiculous how they don't have good accessibility in this store. All kids books/activity books are upstairs. No one offered help for what I was looking for. I asked for a reusable sticker book, one staff said "you could find near the cashier", no there wasn't. It was upstair.
One star just because I found the reusable sticker book. Otherwise I wouldn't give any stars to this store.

Expensive £5 for a pad if paper. Staff are friendly. Layouts not great and I'm sure if you wanted to a read a magazine in full you could with no bother at the back of the 1st floor.

Well layed out store and wide selection of magazines for all interests, all types of stationary, sweets and drinks close to the street exit door. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, always well worth a visit if your in eltham
