You know it's a boring shop and so do I. If they have what you need, their prices are good. The right place to buy a pen or mag. I cannot really discern any retail focus beyond that stuff. They have a bit of this and a bit of that alongside the stationery. Occasionally they offer you a big slab of chocolate at a low price if you buy a book or something, in the manner of a 1943 butcher slapping down a bargain skinned rabbit "off the ration" on to the counter, with a meaningful gaze.

Since Smiths have reorganised their shop, I am always looking for things were they used to be and not where they are now. It doesn't seem to have quite as much room down the aisles. I am sure they can tweak a few things once they have evaluated their shop floor. A plus side is the amount of discounted cookery books they offer. I can never resist getting another, when I visit.

A great variety of stationaries, books, magazines and all other stuffs you would normally find in WHsmith. This is one of the largest stores I have seen. Plenty of staff available to help to find things you need. I always had great service.

Dhl says that at this service point label printing is possible, so I go there with my package and the girl at WHS says oh no we dont do printing here should have done it at home…total waste of time..

Young man at the counter offered me his assistance without me asking, to help find me a lever arch file that was not on the shop floor. Saved me hassle, great service.

Decent range of products here, especially compared to other WHSmith stores. But front half of store is poorly laid out with shelves packed so closely together it can be tricky to move around when it's busy. Queues are often quite big here too.

Really bad customer service. Me and my partner were clearly waiting in the queue to be served. A member of staff was also near the counter ignoring us, pretending to be busy rearranging the water bottles. We must of been waiting there almost 10mins. The staff member even went behind the counter and ignored us. If she's not till trained, this should have been mentioned and she should have got her college to help. We ended up giving up in the end. Terrible customer service.
