Called in the store that should of received my book ordered on the Internet. Branch attendant said book had been paid for but they had no stock so I would have to wait for more stock to become available

Not the biggest of WH Smith's which is reflected in the limited range sold there, especially where stationery is concerned. On the plus side, it's close to the centre of town and the staff are friendly and professional. As always you can order any periodicals that they don't carry on a regular basis.

As a student. Everything I need can be bought here pretty much. Plus student discount is a bonus with the nus card

Poor! Yet again another company has decided to forget about customer service in providing an adequate level of interactive staff.
Instead surprise surprise staff are promoting their own redundancy by encouraging customers to use the self service tills instead of operating the tills keeping people happy and the ques kept flowing.

We went for a afternoon /evening work get together. Poor space, cheap drinks, but you get what you pay for!! 😕

Called into ponty branch yesterday to get tobacco and it seems this company is jumping on the bandwagon during the covid crisis and putting they're prices through the roof. 30g of amberleaf tobacco in w h smith was £21.99 in tesco about £16.00 rip off company.

Ok, but probably can get what you want, especially books, at half price nextdoor in the Works. Threw my reciept away, much to my annoyance.
