Miller & Carter Dartford

Buzzing and busy restaurant with great service from Emily!
The menus are extensive bordering on confusing but once settled it makes much sense. Had the calamari to start, followed by the 50 day matured sirloin cooked medium rare served with Bordelaise sauce and Gran Padano chips on the side.
The meat was lacking in taste given its description, seemingly also needing some resting time before serving and quiet tough.
House wines by the glass are good value for money and well priced.
An overall pleasant diner, thank you.

Great, friendly staff. Short wait times for everything. Really comfortable dining experience. The food is amazing:
1) starters are superb, great portion size and tasty
2) can’t go wrong with any of the mains. Tried seafood, steak and burgers. (Must try the dirty burger!)
3) cocktails are great, as good as any reputable bar in the city

This was our first time in a miller and Carter restaurant. The decor was very good and the staff were excellent from the Lady that showed us to our table and they’re on throughout. Our waitress was also excellent and made our meal a very enjoyable experience.

The food was very good and we thoroughly our starters and main meal. Unfortunately the one dessert we ordered was a real disappointment. It was a lemon cheesecake with raspberry Coulis. It was much smaller than I would have expected and the lemon flavour was bland and by far the least enjoyable lemon cheesecake I have tasted. I have tasted lots of lemon cheesecakes! We would like to visit again and hope another dessert we might choose would be up to the standard of the main course and what we are used to.

Absolutely loved our time with you - our waitress was super lovely and tentative and because it was my husband’s birthday a waiter kindly done some incredible magic tricks for us which was so much fun 🤩

Also, my son has a nut allergy and quite often we don’t get asked of any allergies when we’ve dined elsewhere, however this was the first thing our waitress asked us and was very informative and reassuring of the measure you take to prevent allergic reactions from happening!

Food was fairly priced, tasted great, large selection of drinks.

The table we were on had bad lighting, wasn't near the window and the lights were orangey so hard to read the paper menu for the older members of our group, was a table light in the booth but it didn't appear to work.

Overall would recommend, maybe just ask to sit somewhere a bit lighter if reading in dark is an issue for you.

We came here for the Christmas lunch with our company. Very nice atmosphere, excellent service and very nice food. Thank you, Miller and Carter 🙂

Normally have a great service, waited over a hour for starters, then my wedge came out and meal followed about 45 minutes later. We were going to go for the 3 course but cut it short as we had waited so long for other meals we just didn't want to wait any longer order drinks that also took half hour to arrive. Just not happy with the service at all to be honest

My Mum and I went for a great meal yesterday. The restaurant has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were so well looked after. From being seated by the lovely manager to our amazing waitress Julie, they made it a wonderful afternoon. My steak was cooked perfectly and my Mum's chicken was too. Cannot wait to return.
