A really nice Bar and Restaurant easy lots of onsite parking. My visit mid week dinner and drink quality family time. A warm welcome on reception. The cocktails are nice tasted fresh lots of fresh fruit really enjoyed the cosmopolitan and French Martini. The Soda water drinks are really nice too with fresh fruit. The starters were good portions all tasted fresh and well prepared and cooked. The main was my favourite tender lamb on the rack with fresh vegetables actually I was amazed how good this dish was really delicious and well cooked. The deserts again better than expected mini desert with fresh fruit and cocktail and the ice cream was fresh with a fresh cookie dough cooking baked to perfection. The knickerbocker glory with chocolate brownies in the ice cream and fresh fruit berries also really lovely well prepared. The staff here were all very welcoming and friendly and our waitress very knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere in the restaurant and the bar area felt casual but classy felt relaxed food and drinks arrived in good time five stars for food drinks and service.

Their customer service is 5 star! Particularly Kirsty makes you feel very welcomed and she is extremely helpful, polite and friendly. I enjoyed the food and the sauvignon blanc white wine was very good. I’ll definitely go again.
NOTE: After my visit on New Years EVE I increase my review from 4 stars to 5 because the new year hospitality was fantastic. The restaurant’s management had decided to take less bookings and offer their best, due to Covid_19 staff self isolating and staff shortage. I was very glad to see their customers/staff safety and restaurant’s standards come first .

Nice looking upscale interior and plenty of tables available when we came on a Wednesday evening. Wait staff was friendly and got us our drinks promptly. However, despite it being morgue quiet, the food took quite a while to arrive.

Also, I had asked if the mushrooms could be omitted from the hake dish, which the server took note, but what she failed to do was inform me that my dish would not have the sauce as a result. I told the server I just didn’t like mushrooms, so my request was not due to allergens. Had I known that no sauce would be added, I would’ve just left it and picked the mushrooms out myself.

When the server (a young man this time) brought out the food, he asked about substituting another sauce for the hake, but because we had been waiting for so long, I had gone to the toilet, leaving the rest of my party to answer on my behalf, which was an “I don’t know.” The server said he would come back later with the hake, but then the original server, who had taken our orders, just brought out my dish before I even returned to the table. At that point, I couldn’t be bothered to ask about the alternative sauce, since everyone else had started eating.

The hake was cooked nicely, but I won’t know how the dish should’ve tasted because it had no sauce. I didn’t like the slightly cooked whole stalk of spring onion draped across the fish—too acrid. As well, the mashed potatoes were stodgy and had developed a skin, as if they had been sitting out for a while.

Toilets were really stinky and the floor in the stall was sticky.

Great offer of mini dessert, plus a coffee or cocktail. I like that option a lot. Good range of tasty cocktails. Cinnamon caramel biscuit dessert was lovely. Great chicken graveyard with buttermilk chicken. The hake was quite plain, but nice with the lemon and seasoning. The spring onions need to be trimmed and cooked longer, as they seemed raw and inedible to me. Everything else was nice. Friendly staff.

the place was beautiful, service was great and food was so delicious. had many options and great recommendations were given from staff. definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

One of my favourites! The food is fantastic and the service attentive and respectful. Portions are really generous and the pricing really reasonable. Fancy a steak? This is the place. Fancy something else? This place is probably still the place!

Our server was lovely, very attentive to our group. I've eaten here a few times - whenever I'm home in the UK - and the food is always good. Presentation was top notch. 10/10 Very enjoyable birthday meal with family.

Best meal with have ever eaten here and we have been here may times! There were only a couple of other tables with diners when we arrived so had good choice of seating.
Steaks 🥩 were cooked perfectly, must have triple cooked chips 100% better than the fries 🍟 with the beef dripping sauce to dip 😁 delicious!
We ordered a Knickerbocker glory to share for dessert, being nostalgic remembering the ingredients, waiting in anticipation, unfortunately to be disappointed 😞 although the dessert was tasty, it was nothing like a knickerbocker glory, more like a chocolate Sunday!
Good, pleasant service, most enjoyable meal, definitely be returning!
