Miller & Carter Washford Mill

Amazing service from Ellie, she was attentive and made us feel very welcome which added to the experience.. thank you!! Amazing food all came out cooked to perfection and piping hot!! It was my husbands birthday and they even surprised us!!

We came here with work people after a long day. Service was great and food even better. Most of us had steaks and they did not disappoint. Recommend this location for a great steak and great service. They also moved up our reservation for 8 people and that was amazing they could do that for us.

One of the worst experiences of dining out I have have ever had. I will be writing a letter of complaint to Head Office. The food was uncooked. The service was atrocious. If you want to go to a Miller & Carter, please don’t go to this one. All others I have been to have great staff & fantastic chefs. Washford Mill is a complete sham & should be shut down!

We had a great time tonight. The service was outstanding and timely. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I had sticky chipotle chicken as my starter it was flavourful and extremely tender. For my main I had the rack of lamb. It was cooked perfectly. And for dessert the sticky toffee pudding was amazing, it was warm and was a good portion size.

To improve my meal to make it five stars i would like to see a larger portion size of potatoes with my lamb as I feel it was a little small. Furthermore although the lamb was cooked perfectly I feel like it needed slightly more flavour maybe some seasoning before cooking to elevate the flavour a little as it seemed bland compared to the rest of the plate where it needed to be the main event.

Our visit here was amazing. We had a meal for my niece’s 7th birthday. The waitress had asked if it was a special occasion when ordering our meal.
With out prompting them, our desserts were coming out with well presented ice cream, a 7 shaped candle and a plate with happy birthday written in chocolate sauce for my niece singing happy birthday. What a fantastic experience. Well recommended.

The atmosphere was great, and the staff though extremely busy were amazing. The food we had was superb - as usual - except for my partners' steak. We visit M&C regularly and have always been very satisfied;unfortunately this is the first time that we have had to complain. However, our server dealt with the issue promptly & although not resolved we received a voucher to use on our next visit.
