The Highwayman Beefeater

Came here for the Millennium new years eve meal and party, good food, good service, fair prices, would be nice if as a customer you could choose where to sit when you have reserved a table.

Visited today great place food it’s awesome take a visit Id book a table though as does get very busy especially Sundays I got lucky as me and my partner and 2 kids managed to get a table

Great breakfast! Quality ingredients cooked to order, so nice and hot.
Kids (under 16) eat free with a paying adult, so good value if you have any.
It would be nice if you could also help yourself to sachets of ketchup and brown sauce.

Lovely Beefeater pub in a fabulous setting in the Derbyshire countryside.
Staff attentive and very friendly.
Family day out so 10 of us. Kitchen did well and meals came out promptly.

All the previous reviews about how lovely the staff are are so true. They are all so cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is modern, clean and restful atmosphere. The food was hot , tasty and well presented. The premier inn attached is clean and peaceful too. Both ideally situated for a visit to Chatsworth House.

Having a break in the Peaks and this Beefeater was just around the corner from where we were staying.
Lovely family atmosphere and the service was efficient and very friendly.
Food was excellent too, so much so, that we went back for a second visit before leaving for home.
Nothing but positive things to say.

Booked last Sunday here for lunch - taking advantage of the current Beefeater 50% off Mains offer. Served promptly by Kyle who was friendly and attentive - checked back with us a couple of times that we were happy with everything.

We both had the turkey, which was tasty & tender, gravy was great(!!). The only minor comment would be that the roast potatoes and parsnips were a little over-done.

We've now been several times in recent months and find the Highwayman very consistent in food quality & friendly service.

Keep up the good work!

Nice food with attentive service. Menu is not as wide as before covid (no beef crisps starter the kids love those) and a couple of items were not available due to deliver issues affecting a lot of restaurants at the moment but didn't affect our food. Served by Laura.
