First impressions was that it was a nice place. Was very busy not one empty table (it was a Saturday night) which is a good sign in my opinion. You definitely need a booking. They don’t take walk-ins. Food and drinks were great, great flavour and well prepared. Only gave 4 stars because I originally wanted the shrimps as a main and it had sold out so opted for the sea bass which I was really pleased with (highly recommend).

Edit: After coming back again for a family birthday, everything was top notch. 5 star deserved!
Have been coming here for 8 years now and this time was slightly disappointing. I came here for my friends birthday. We asked for water for our table but never got any. Prawns were lovely as usual, however the main was missing tomatoes which which made the meal incomplete. Will be coming back this weekend, hopefully it will be better.

Great atmosphere, staff and of course, food! The staff were warm and welcoming, the ambience and decor was great, and the food was amazing. We had the dynamite prawns and chicken lollipops to start with followed by a main course of the beef burgers. Everything tasted so good and I wish I had more space to order some dessert. Will be back again for sure!

Made a last minute reservation here yesterday for a birthday celebration. The assistant manager was fantastic in making it possible for 10 of us to attend for dinner in a great area with the kids. We enjoyed the Kids Eat for £1 summer offer too. Our waiter Tjarne (TJ) was AMAZING! Overall a fantastic evening. Thank you ❤

If you’re vegan/ vegetarian just get fries (they were lovely and matched condiments well). There’s limited options, you really have no choice but to get the hulk burger which is like flavourless mush. No real distinctive flavours, lentil patty is huge and doesn’t fit the bun, avocado hummus makes the burger soggy and diced olives were weird. I had to add sauce to bring flavour. I never waste food but I couldn’t stomach it. The atmosphere, staff and drinks are lovely.

Went to The Banc on Friday evening (yesterday) and had an amazing time. Lovely ambiance and vibe. Fancy but chilled.
Food wise, both our starters were amazing, especially the ‘Banc Money Bags’. The bun was soft and fluffy, with the lamb filling having a great tangy taste. For mains, all of us went for the Fillet Mignon steak and it was incredible, with the mushroom sauce just adding to the juicy flavour.
Finally, we were really well looked after by Nicol and Keelan. Simply put, The Banc is superb. Highly recommended.

Went here on a busy Friday night with a couple of friends. We ordered the trio steak, bang bang prawns, calamari and sliders to start. Had a chance to try them all (apart from prawns) and they were delicious. My friends also really enjoyed the prawns but I'm allergic.
For mains I had the chicken thigh steaks and my friends had the mixed grill with cheesy fries and the salmon with fried mushrooms. We all agreed that the food was cooked perfectly. I was a bit nervous that the portions would be small but we were all stuffed and couldn't finish our meals. The side of mushrooms was easily shared between the 3 of us.
In terms of the service, the waiters were attentive, friendly and efficient. They came over and asked my about my allergies and let me know which foods to avoid which I thought was excellent. We did feel a bit rushed towards the end but that was to be expected, given that they have a time limit and it was a busy night.
The only real downside of this visit was that we were overcharged by £35 because a shisha was accidentally added to our bill. We didn't realise it had been added until later that night but I went back the next day and was immediately given a refund. I would not let this experience deter me from revisiting or recommending this restaurant. Just check the bill before you leave :)

I’ve tried the cheese beef burger and the hot burger. The burger is nice but not nice enough for the price, there are other better options for the same price. The red cabbage coleslaw in the hot burger was the best part. I have tried the salmon which was as good as salmon can be. I will be going for a birthday (not mine for sure) and am not keen on having the burgers anymore so will have to try something different. The Banc has a beautiful interior and I believe that’s why so many people go, for the gram. Really good customer service.
Updated review: I tried the wagyu beef sliders which I’d recommend, the sauce complimented the meat very nicely. If you’re feeling burgers, get this as a starter and save your burger meal cravings for another day. I tried the lamb fillet this time around and I was not disappointed. It was nicely flavoured and the texture was perfect. The portion size was also good. I got hand cut chips with this and they were really good, simple works best.
