Miller & Carter Harlow

Reasonably nice visit to Miller & Carter. First time we'd been. The place is quite glitzy on the surface, but once you get close you can see its chain restaurant roots, if we'd known that it was part of the same group as Harvester, we probably would have avoided as our preference is independents.

We had the Chateaubriand, asking for it to be cooked to medium temperature, I can handle it on the rare side, but my Wife prefers it more on the well done side. In fact it was closer to medium-rare, so sharing it was tricky.

With all that said, our meal was pretty good, not memorable, but OK.

Great steak always. This photo is the 50 day dry aged Sirloin with truffle sauce. Absolutely delicious and always faultless. Cooked to medium rare and was really like butter in your mouth. Relatively pricey but you do get what you pay for. Great food.

Me and 2 girlfriends had a meal here last night. The restaurant was full so advance booking is advised. We all had steak and the food was lovely and arrived very hot at the table. A really enjoyable evening. The staff were polite and very helpful particularly the young man who brought our dessert! My only bugbear with our dessert. 2 of us had the "giant" cookie and ice cream ..... "giant" is a serious understatement as it was the size of a biscuit! Other than that, a very enjoyable evening

The food was amazing, very nice place, we loved our waitress Flora steak recommendations, absolutely be back soon but make sure to leave room for dessert.

Fabulous meal very tasty. Good service good value for money. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Great service, food and atmosphere. There's also a great drinks selection including some very tasty cocktails. What more could you want?

Our waitress for the evening was Stacey and she was brilliant with sound knowledge of all the drinks and food menu on offer. A very friendly and pleasant girl with high professionalism qualities. A credit to the Miller & Cater team at Harlow. There were 6 of us and we all agreed with the quality of service and the food was very good. I would of given a 5 🌟rating on the food but my sirloin steak was a little bit grisly. But everyone else in my party really enjoyed it. 👍
